Teacher quality remains the top reason why families choose The Learning Experience Waxhaw.
The teachers at the learning experience are absolutely amazing! We have had a bad experience with a past school and TLE has gone above and beyond our expectations. The change in my daughter is astounding. She is so excited to come in every day and learn.
My daughter is currently enrolled at TLE waxhaw in the infant room and I can’t sing their praises enough. As a first time mom I was struggling with anxiety and having someone else watch my baby. We started her at another daycare before we found TLE and it was a disaster. Allison, Britt and Jess welcomed us with open arms and made the transition for me and my girl absolutely seamless and eased my mind tremendously. Inna and Lisa the infant room teachers are absolutely phenomenal and you can tell they love the babies as their own. My daughter lights up every morning seeing them and I know she is in the best hands. If you are in the area and are looking for childcare I highly recommend TLE waxhaw. We Love them!!
Can't say anything but good things about the people here. They treat the kids so well, and make them feel so special. My little ones absolutely love their time here.
We absolutely love this daycare! My daughter truly loves being here and has such a great time learning, playing, and making new memories every day. It makes me so happy to see how excited she is to come to daycare and how much she has grown and learned. The teachers are so kind, caring, and welcoming, and you can really tell that they genuinely care about the children. The atmosphere is warm, positive, and feels like a second home. I feel comfortable knowing my daughter is in a safe and loving environment while she learns and grows. We are so happy with our experience and would definitely recommend this daycare to other families!
This daycare has been an amazing place for our family. The facility is always clean, organized, and welcoming, and it’s clear that a lot of thought goes into creating a safe and engaging environment for the children. There are plenty of age-appropriate activities, learning opportunities, and space for the kids to play, explore, and grow. The staff are friendly and professional, and communication is excellent. A special thank you to Brittany and other staff, who has been so wonderful. We highly recommend this daycare to any family looking for a safe, caring, and nurturing environment for their child.

Staff is always friendly. Our kids have been here for 2 years and the teachers are amazing. The kids have learned manners and are very well prepared for the next stages in life. I would highly recommend them
I’ve had a great experience with The Learning Experience in Waxhaw. I regularly pick up my nephew from preschool, and one thing that always stands out is how happy he is when I arrive. He feels comfortable, safe, and genuinely enjoys his time in school. The teachers are wonderful—attentive, caring, and clearly invested in the kids. The management team is just as impressive - Brittany, Jessica, and Brittany B. are organized, professional, and always welcoming. I have picked him from his previous preschools but I can truly say this is the best preschool in Matthews / Waxhaw!
I am so happy with The Learning Experience Waxhaw. The curriculum is thoughtfully planned, engaging, and perfectly suited for my son’s early development. The teachers are also truly wonderful—kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in my son. It’s a warm, nurturing environment, and we highly recommend it to other families
We’ve had a wonderful experience at The Learning Experience Waxhaw. My two-year-old attends and genuinely enjoys going every day. The teachers are caring, attentive, and create a safe, engaging environment where he’s clearly learning and growing. I also truly appreciate that they accept vouchers — that level of accessibility makes a real difference for families. Brittany and Jess are an outstanding management team. They’re professional, responsive, and clearly committed to maintaining high standards across the center. You can tell they care about both the children and the families they serve. I drive from Matthews just to attend The Learning Experience Waxhaw. Highly recommend to any parent looking for quality child care in the area.
We are with TLE waxhaw over a year but I saw lot of difference after my son moved to Dunia’s class. Thank you for being such a kind, caring, and wonderful teacher to our son. We truly appreciate your patience, support, and the positive impact you’ve made on his growth and happiness every day.

We have had such an amazing experience with The Learning Experience! My two-year-old is in Mrs. Marsha’s Twaddler B class, and she absolutely loves it. It brings me so much joy to see how excited she is to go to school each day and how she’s building relationships with her peers. The staff is incredibly kind and supportive! I’m so grateful we chose this learning center for my daughter—it’s been a wonderful foundation for her growth and future! Thank you TLE ??
We have been with TLE Waxhaw for about 5 years and have 2 kids enrolled there. We love the school and curriculum especially for our younger son. He enjoys the teachers and students and it is clear that the teachers truly care for him and help encourage his learning and development. There are healthy food choices available for the kids for breakfast and lunch or you can send food from home if that’s your preference. The facility is kept clean and there’s definitely a sanitizing routine done at the end of each day. They are very communicative at the facility about food or bad things which we appreciate. We have been happy with our kids here.
We’ve had a wonderful experience with this daycare. All of the teachers are kind, attentive, and truly care about the children. When my child first started, separation was a bit difficult and there were some tears, but the teachers were incredibly patient and nurturing, helping ease the transition. After just a month, my child has built a great bond with the teachers and genuinely enjoys being there. The curriculum is both well-structured and engaging, with a nice balance of learning and fun activities. We also really appreciate that photos are frequently shared through the app, which helps us stay connected to our child’s day. In addition, the administrative staff are always warm, welcoming, and very responsive. They take the time to answer questions and make sure everything runs smoothly. Overall, we’re very happy with our experience and would highly recommend this daycare.

As a parent, finding a place where your child feels safe, supported, and genuinely understood is everything and this school has been exactly that for us. The staff and teachers are truly exceptional. Everyone is smiling and bubbly as soon as you are greeted at the front! They go above and beyond in their care, communication, and patience, especially with my son. Every interaction feels intentional and compassionate, and it’s clear they take the time to understand each child’s unique needs. He been met with so much kindness and encouragement, and watching him grow in that environment has meant the world to me. Communication has also been amazing. I always feel informed, included, and reassured, which brings such a sense of peace as a parent. It’s rare to find a team that not only educates your child, but genuinely partners with you in their development. This school has been such a blessing for our family. Our family has had such a wonderful experience in Waxhaw. The staff are exceptional caring, patient, and truly dedicated. Our child is so happy and thriving because of the positive learning environment they create. We’re grateful for the amazing learning experience
Hello Team Waxhaw! I am constantly praising your center, team, and teachers for the phenomenal work you do. Below is a message that HQ received from a community member who observed your kiddos and teachers on a field trip. The fact that you are making an impact inside your center and out in the community speaks volumes about the culture you have created! I am so incredibly proud of each of you and how you represent TLE! Way to go!! Please share with your whole team.
Our daughter has been going to TLE Waxhaw since just 2 months old, and we’ve had such a great experience with the entire team. We’ve loved every teacher: Ms. Letresia and Ms. Lisa in Infant A, Ms. Inna in Infant B, and Ms. Lauren in Toddler A have all been amazing. They’ve been so kind, warm, and truly care about the kids. You know your child is in good hands when you can still stop by the Infant rooms just to give hugs to previous teachers. There are other teachers I haven’t gotten to know as closely since my husband and I alternate drop off and pick up, but we’ve had nothing but positive experiences with everyone here. Every time we pull into the parking lot in the morning, all I can hear is clapping and giggling! That speaks volumes. We’ve also seen how much they help with development—from first steps to reading, art, playing outside—you name it. And anytime we’ve had a question or small concern, they’ve listened and followed through in a way that makes you feel really supported as a parent. We’re so thankful for the love and care they show our little one every day!
My daughter has been going to TLE Waxhaw since she was 2 month and it’s been an amazing experience. I’ve loved all of her teachers past and present. Before the age of 2 the toddler B teachers (Bri and Catherine) taught her all her body parts and her teachers now in twaddler A (Bethany and Steph) taught her the abcs song and some of her numbers. She loves her teachers and especially loves Chinita, Emily, and Sam. I love seeing how much she has learned from here and how happy she is coming it every morning.
We moved in the area last July and was looking at daycare sites for our son. I knew when I walked in the building our son would be ok. Every staff member is so welcoming and accommodating to my family needs. The Learning Experience Waxhaw location is the BEST!!!!! I get so many compliments about the learning that takes place at this center through my son.

One of the most common reasons families choose The Learning Experience Waxhaw is our whole-child approach to kindergarten readiness.
The Learning Experience has been great for my son Joseph. The staff is great and very accommodating for allowing me to do a early drop off so I can get to work on time. My son has great stories everyday and has made lots of friends which I believe is very important in my child's development. I appreciate everything they have done for my son and family.
A 5-year-old child met the best teachers and received amazing help here. In just over six months, the child went from not speaking English and not knowing how to interact with other kids to opening up, fluently communicating and playing with them. Now, the child loves going to school. Ms. Angie, Ms. Dunia, and Ms. Kat at the school are fantastic—they’re child experts who understand each child’s personality and needs. The child comes home sharing how the teachers love him, and I think this is the best first place for a child to be away from home.
We came to TLE in 2023 after a not great experience at another childcare facility. Everyone at TLE Waxhaw is always so welcoming, helpful, and truly care for each child that walks through the door. Since my oldest has been there, Ms. Elizabeth has had the privilege to move classrooms with him and continue to be his teacher. She is truly one of our favorite teachers in the school and my son talks about her and even her son every day. He's always enjoyed being at TLE, but Ms Elizabeth makes it so much better for him. Also special shoutout to the Toddler Room teachers (Lauren, Trinity, Bri, Catherine) who have helped my youngest thrive in their care and always encouraged him to keep up with the bigger kids in the class! If you're looking for a daycare that give their all to their students, this is the place. We absolutely love this school!
As a parent, finding a place where your child is not only safe but truly thrives is everything—and The Learning Experience has far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, we felt a genuine sense of warmth, professionalism, and a deep commitment to early childhood development with Sam who prepared a amazing presentation of the facility. The teachers (Mrs.Angie and her assistant teacher) are nurturing, patient, and highly skilled at connecting with children on their level. Our child has blossomed socially, emotionally, and intellectually since joining. We’ve noticed a huge improvement in vocabulary, creativity, and confidence—thanks to their thoughtfully structured curriculum and hands-on learning approach. What really stands out is how much our little one loves going to daycare every morning. The engaging activities, themed lessons, and even the adorable characters they incorporate into the day make learning fun and exciting. Emily’s morning smiles and communication with parents is also excellent. We receive regular updates, photos, and notes, which make us feel involved and reassured throughout the day. Thank you All !
Preston attend TLE from 12 weeks until graduation. We loved every room Preston was in, and each teacher was dedicated to making his time with TLE the best! We can't thank them enough for all the great things they did for our family !

We have been coming to Waxhaw TLE since my daughter was in the infant a room. We have loved every teacher and we absolutely love the curriculum that is provided to our daughter. She has learned so much! The management team is unmatched!
We have been at TLE Waxhaw for over a year and we couldn’t be happier. Our kids genuinely love their teachers and going to school. The growth and development we have seen is astronomical and we know our children are always being well taken care of in their care. The management staff is always present and actively involved in the classrooms and continuous feedback with the parents. Chinita, Sam, and Emily are always open minded about what’s best for children, they are responsive if we need to chat during the day, and always willing to be accommodating. We can’t say enough good things about our time here.
My two-year old son started at The Learning Experience - Waxhaw at the beginning of 2022. It is the best childcare decision I've made! The teachers are absolutely wonderful! Both rooms my son has been in so far are amazing! The teachers are so caring and take a genuine interest in your child. My son loves going to school there everyday. My daughter attended the summer camp program and enjoyed the summer activities, so much that some days she doesn't want to leave. The front office is wonderful to work with too, Ms. Chinita, Ms. Becca and Ms. Carole are very helpful and great to work with! I can't say enough positive things about this daycare. I have been extremely pleased with the teachers and staff!
My daughter just started at the daycare in Waxhaw. We absolutely love it. The teachers and staff go above and beyond and the kids become one of their own. Keep up the good work. It definitely doesn't go unnoticed.
