The impact of our Philanthropy Curriculum program

In January 2013, we partnered with Make-A-Wish Southern Florida to launch the first-ever nationwide preschool philanthropy curriculum, dedicated to teaching our children the value of kindness and generosity in class, at home and in their communities.

Every month, our children learn new philanthropic concepts—such as “humanitarian,” “charity” and “volunteer”—and bring them to life through fundraising events and community outreach projects.

Our mission in action through Let's Grant Wishes

At The Learning Experience, we know providing high-quality early education extends well beyond the ABCs and 123s. Our one-of-a-kind philanthropy curriculum, guided by our lovable learning characters Grace Greyhound and Charity Chihuahua, teaches important concepts like kindness and giving! This month, Grace and Charity, along with our beloved mascot Bubbles the Elephant, are guiding our little learners through our special philanthropy tradition: Let’s Grant Wishes!

Let’s Grant Wishes allows our little learners to put the important life values they’ve learned all year into action! This fundraiser for our partner, Make-A-Wish, is held throughout April to benefit children battling critical illnesses. To date, TLE centers, families, team members, and community partners have raised more than $5.5 million for the Make-A-Wish through Let's Grant Wishes.

Let's Grant Wishes is woven into our philanthropy curriculum and helps our little learners understand the lifechanging impact of giving back. They’ll even use their creativity and other talents to participate in the fundraising and learn that: It doesn’t matter how big or small you are, it’s the size of your heart that matters.
