We recently transferred our two kiddos to The Learning Experience. From the initial tour, we knew this was the right choice for us. The center offers tours for parents showcasing all of the class room levels and learning expectations. We were able to sit down with Arleen and ask any questions or concerns we may have, and walked through pricing and payment options. September was our transition from our previous daycare. TLE made the transition seamless and welcoming for not only our kids, but us. We were given monthly calendars, food schedules (in advance), learning expectations, and more. The teachers are warm and set high expectations. We have witnessed tremendous growth both socially and academically in BOTH of our children. Our oldest, just turned 5 (missed cut off) not only can write out full words and sentences, but is reading on a kindergarten level. She is given decodable phonics books every week introducing new words and site words. Each title has a learning objective and age appropriate questions to ensure comprehension of the text. She is learning all content areas including kindergarten math skills. My youngest (a new 3 year old) is learning the alphabet, how to write his name and other beginner words, identifying numbers, shapes, and more. All content areas are covered in a meaningful and age appropriate way. The teaching and learning is very individualized and differentiated to meet the needs of each specific student in the class, as there are many types and levels of learners in a Preschool and PreK classroom. The approach to learning and the lesson structures are also differentiated from pencil to paper, smart board activities, meaningful collaboration with other children, circle time, and more - all focusing on a specific theme per month. We could not be happier and have chosen a better place for our children to attend. From the learning and social activities, to the caring staff and teachers, you will not be disappointed and your kiddos will thrive.

I cannot recommend TLE Ledgewood enough! My son has been going there for the past four years and we love it! He started in their toddler room and is now 5.5 and about to graduate from their preschool program. Our time there has been nothing short of amazing! He has learned so much over the last four years and thanks to their phenomenal curriculum is more than ready to enter kindergarten this fall. But more than anything he has had so much FUN while learning at the same time. He’s grown so much socially, emotionally and creatively and I’ve seen him develop before my eyes into an independent little learner who loves going to school and making new friends. The teachers and staff are absolutely amazing. We have loved every single one of them over the years. You can see and feel just how much they care about the kids. They create such a loving and safe environment for them and go above and beyond with all the activities and events they have. They are always willing to talk and listen and I love all the updates and pictures I get throughout his day in the app. I could not be happier with our experience there and am so sad to be leaving in the fall, they truly feel like family.

She has been thriving since starting. She comes home learning new things everyday as they also have a curriculum for each room including the younger ages! They also have a lot of Spanish speaking teachers that are more than willing to help which is definitely a plus if you have a bilingual child. The enrichment activities of the classroom are geared towards developmental milestones - my little one has flourished so quickly in ways I’m not sure I’d be able to encourage solely on my own. Miss Connie, Miss Ashley, Miss Maggie, and Miss Mary provide such a fun, nurturing environment for the littlest learners, and I’ve been both happy and relieved to have our child be a part of it!

She absolutely loves being involved in everything and I love that I’m able to involve her more. I also love that they have eyes everywhere 24/7. I love the sign in process especially when I’m not the one picking her up. It definitely will bring you peace knowing your child is ALWAYS safe and secure! I also love the updates throughout the day. As a working mom I can’t call to center all the time to see how she is but they are very consistent on sending pictures of what she’s doing and what skills she is learning throughout the day. They also have a lot of community events! Especially during the holidays. Last week we went to their trunk or treat and our little one had an amazing time!
