Mariah Shifman is the Area Manager at The Learning Experience - Owings Mills. She brings over 20 years of experience in early childhood education and leadership, having served in roles including Center Director and District Director throughout her career. Mariah is passionate about developing strong leaders, supporting high-quality programs, and creating positive, nurturing environments for children, families, and educators. She is dedicated to ensuring each school operates with excellence while fostering growth and success within her teams. Mariah finds the greatest reward in seeing her leaders and centers thrive and in knowing she has made a meaningful impact across the communities she serves. She is proud to support multiple locations at The Learning Experience and to help create engaging environments where children can learn, grow, and succeed.

Amanda is the Center Director at The Learning Experience - Lake Linganore. She earned her degree in Early Childhood Education and began her career as an educator over 25 years ago. Throughout her career, Amanda has been a dedicated advocate for children, families, and the community, believing that strong family partnerships and quality education are the foundation for every child's success. As an experienced Center Director, Amanda has built a proven track record of leading high-performing early childhood programs that meet the needs of the communities they serve. She combines hands-on leadership with goal-oriented decision-making to ensure exceptional care, educational excellence, and positive outcomes for children and their families. Amanda is committed to supporting The Learning Experience's mission of providing high-quality early education while fostering a welcoming, collaborative environment where children can reach their fullest potential. Outside of the center, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, relaxing by the pool with a good book, cheering on Maryland Blue Crabs, and traveling to new places.

Mamatha holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) and is a certified Infant/Toddler teacher with experience in early childhood education. She focuses on creating a warm, safe, and nurturing classroom where children feel supported and encouraged as they learn and grow. Mamatha enjoys building positive relationships with children and their families and working together to support each child’s early development. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring Indian cuisine, and creating wonderful memories with her children.

Paige is an Early Childhood Educator at The Lake Linganore Learning Experience. She is a recent graduate of Carroll Community College, where she earned her degree in Early Childhood Education. With experience in childcare since 2022, Paige has had the opportunity to support children as they grow, learn, play, and develop their unique personalities and skills. She believes early childhood is a meaningful time for growth and strives to create a nurturing environment where each child feels supported as they build confidence and discover the world around them. Paige enjoys being part of each child’s journey and helping them develop a strong foundation for their future.

Jossely holds a certification in Early Childhood Education and has continued building her professional qualifications through ongoing training, including her 90-hour certification, Infant/Toddler training, and 45 hours of School-Age training. She has worked in early childhood education in different settings and, as a bilingual educator who also teaches Spanish, creates a safe, structured, and engaging classroom that supports children’s social-emotional, language, and early learning development. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family, walking, going to the beach, and enjoying a matcha latte.

Juliana is a Teacher at The Learning Experience. She discovered her interest in early childhood education while taking Child Development courses in high school, leading her to begin her childcare career at 17 years old. She has completed coursework in Early Childhood Education and holds certifications in CPR, the 90+9-Hour Child Care Certification, 3-Hour Communication with Children training, Playground Supervision, and Including All Children and the Americans with Disabilities Act training. Over the past six years, Juliana has built extensive experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children. Her dedication and leadership led her to become the lead teacher of the one-year-old classroom at 18, lead the preschool classroom at 20, and later serve as a daycare supervisor. Juliana strives to create a warm, welcoming classroom where children feel safe, supported, and confident as they learn through play and exploration. She values building meaningful relationships with each child and family, believing that trust and encouragement help children reach important developmental milestones. Fluent in English and Patois, Juliana enjoys connecting with families from diverse backgrounds and spending quality time with her own family and friends outside of work.
