He loves the playground here and now when we go to the park at home he is so much more confident and ready to explore. He is also learning basic sign language and can sign "eat" and "more". I can truly see a positive difference in my grandson and I love it. TLE is an answer to a prayer for us!

TLE in Ashburn has been such a wonderful daycare for my 15 month old daughter. She absolutely loves the playground and all the characters in the facility especially the elephant Bubbles. My daughter was previously in Homecare so I was nervous about the switch but she is loving it and thriving! The staff is absolutely amazing and has made this transition such a positive experience. I’ve noticed such an improvement in her social and emotional well-being and just becoming more independent and confident in herself. I really appreciate the photos and updates throughout her day with the TLE Parent App along with how secure the facility is. Highly recommend! 😊

I don’t have enough words to express my gratitude to the TLE team. We absolutely love this school. The staff are friendly, loving, and always positive. I was drawn to TLE because my husband and I were looking for a more educational based school for our daughter… and we hit the jackpot with TLE! Our little has grown leaps and bounds! I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a safe, educational, caring, clean and friendly atmosphere!

Ms. Tenea Starks has been with The Learning Experience of Ashburn since October of 2023.  She has her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction in Early Childhood Education from George Mason University. Ms. Tenea has lived in Loudoun County for her entire life.  She has over 10 years of experience working in the early childcare setting.  She has a passion for early childhood education and has wanted to work in this field since she was a child.  Ms. Tenea loves working with children!  She believes that the love and care that you show to a child will shape how they treat others in the future.  She also believes that early childhood education is the most impactful time in a child’s life.  She is the mother to one beautiful daughter named Roo!  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  She also enjoys hiking, yoga and traveling to attend music festivals.

Ria for short, will be joining our TLE family!  She will become a Co-Lead Teacher in our Infant B classroom.  She has over 20 years of experience working in childcare and absolutely loves working with Infants!  She is in the process of obtaining her CDA as well.  Ms. Maria came highly recommended by some of our current families who have worked with her at previous centers.  She has 2 adult children and a 13-year-old Yorkie, named Yoshi!  Her favorite color is orange.  She is very excited to become a part of our TLE family.

She met her high school sweetheart at Broad Run High School and after getting married she traveled with her husband for twenty years while he served in the US Air Force, living overseas she developed her love for cultures and languages. She has dedicated herself to nurturing young minds and bodies in an early childhood setting for twelve years. In her free time, Linda enjoys spending time with her family, crocheting, reading, and studying languages including German, Spanish, Arabic, and ASL.

Also, while in college he earned his degree in Elementary education as well as Psychology while graduating with honors. During a long college experience, he earned Deans list honors(2x) as well as achieving All-CIAA, 2nd team(football) 1st Team All-Meac (football) and 1st team All-Freshman. After finishing school he was selected to play in the Canadian Football League for the Montreal Alouettes. This is when she discovered her love for early childhood education and her passion for teaching. After high school, Ms. Sheila attended Northern Virginia Community College to pursue her degree in Early Childhood Education. Throughout that time, she worked in an elementary school assisting kindergarten-aged children. She has been working at a daycare, caring for children aged infant to twelve years of age for the last four years. Alicia truly enjoys interacting with all ages but, recently found that she loves taking care of the inner workings of childcare operations. She is a mother of three beautiful children and one territorial chihuahua named Blue (after the dino on Jurassic World).
