Our Caring & Experienced Staff

Teacher quality remains the top reason why families choose The Learning Experience Lacey.

Teacher T.

Hello everyone! My name is Taylor and I am a teacher at The Learning Experience Lacey, and I am here to tell you why I chose The Learning Experience! I have been working with children for many years, and it has been something I have always enjoyed doing! I recently moved here to the state of Washington, and I knew working with children is what I wanted to continue doing! This school was mentioned to me by some family friends who had also just moved to the area! After it was mentioned to me, I took a look online to gather some more information, and when I did, I knew that this school was definitely one I wanted to check out! Shortly after, I went to the school and got a tour. There are so many things I love about this school! Some examples are: the bright and fun colors throughout the whole school, the community, the set up of the classrooms, the TLE characters, the selection of toys provided for the children, the spacious playground areas, the TLE app with all kinds of great resources, the curriculum, and so much more! I am so excited to get to know all of the students, be a positive and encouraging role model to them, and watch them learn and grow every day in the classroom!

Teacher K.

Hi! My name is Kristy. I am one of the Infant Room Teachers at TLE-Lacey. I have many years of experience working in an Early Childhood Education setting. I chose TLE because its honestly unlike any other school I've had a chance to be a part of. TLE values a strong curriculum and their child friendly animal characters bring the lessons to life, making learning fun for both the children and the teachers. In addition, their core values align perfectly with my own and what I would want in a school for my own children. With TLE, I have the opportunity to share my passion of working with young learners and not only teaching them, but nurturing them in a safe, healthy and HAPPY environment. You won't find a happier, more friendly place to take your children. After all, their motto says it all.... HAPPY HAPPENS HERE! I'm so excited to grow with this amazing TLE-Lacey Team. I know that together, we will make a positive impact on the children in our care, the families and the community we serve. -Kristy D.

Teacher M.

Hi, My name is Madison, The new preschool lead at The Learning Experience, Lacey! I have been in this field for almost 10 years and I consider myself very particular when it comes to choosing a childcare center. When I first interviewed with TLE, I was immediately blown away by the level of care that had clearly been applied to every classroom I toured. They provide fluidly designed classrooms that cater to the children AND to the teacher, an environment that supplies safety and security while also nurturing a child's need to learn and explore and staff members that don't only coexist but support one another on a daily basis. I truly look forward to my future with The Learning Experience! -Madison Veal

I chose The Learning Experience at Lacey because they focus on making childcare a fun, interesting, and happy experience. They use animal characters to teach children different values and life lessons in a way that children will understand. They have over 400 locations and have been running for over 40 years so they know how to do childcare right. Everyone I have met has been kind, enthusiastic, and exactly the kind of people you want to help your children learn and grow.

Kindergarten Readiness and School Preparation

One of the most common reasons families choose The Learning Experience Lacey is our whole-child approach to kindergarten readiness.

Teacher D.

I chose TLE because I genuinely admire its mission to create a happy, healthy, and safe environment for children. This aligns perfectly with my own goal for my classroom. I want children to feel like home so they can learn through play in a joyful and secure setting, which I believe is crucial for their learning and growth. Additionally, I love the characters that enhance the learning experience. I believe they help children enjoy the program through relatable and charming figures. The management team is also incredibly supportive and kind, which is an important factor when choosing a company to work for. These are the reasons why I chose TLE!

Is your child ready for kindergarten? Measured independently by COR Advantage during the 2025-2026 school year, our preschoolers achieve 97% kindergarten readiness.
