Teacher quality remains the top reason why families choose The Learning Experience Ashburn.
As Lansdowne parents, the location is super convenient for our commute, but honestly the people are what keep us here. Our daughter talks nonstop about Ms. Maria and even pretends to be her teacher at home with her stuffed animals. It’s very obvious the staff genuinely care about the kids.
We toured a few places around Ashburn before choosing TLE and the difference was obvious right away. The teachers were actually down on the floor interacting with the kids instead of standing around supervising. Ms. Hanan in the infant room made us feel so comfortable during a really emotional transition back to work. I still remember crying in the parking lot after our first drop-off and getting a reassuring photo update ten minutes later. That meant everything to me.
The Learning Experience in Ashburn has been a wonderful fit for our family. The staff is caring, organized, and always keeps us informed.
We’ve had such a positive experience at The Learning Experience in Ashburn. The teachers are warm, attentive, and truly invested in helping each child feel confident and excited about learning. Our child talks about classroom activities every day, and we’ve noticed meaningful growth both socially and academically since enrolling.
What stood out to us about The Learning Experience in Ashburn was how organized and welcoming everything felt from the first week. The L.E.A.P. curriculum introduces early learning concepts in a fun way, and the communication from teachers has been consistent and reassuring. It made the transition back to work much easier for our family.

Ashburn families consistently report feeling secure about the supervision, entry protocols, and overall safety standards at our Center.
We toured several daycare options in Ashburn before choosing The Learning Experience and immediately felt the difference when we walked in. The classrooms are bright and structured, and the teachers took time to answer all of our questions without rushing us. Since starting, our child has become more confident socially and talks about school every evening on the drive home.
Love the TLE staff at Ashburn-Riverside. My 5 month old daughter currently attends there and I love it for her. Love getting the pictures of her daily activities, and her teacher is the best.
I’m so grateful for the care my grandchildren receive at this daycare. The staff is warm, patient, and genuinely invested in each child’s growth. My grandchildren come home happy, confident, and excited to share what they learned each day. The environment is clean, safe, and filled with thoughtful activities that support both learning and play. I truly appreciate the communication from the teachers and how supported we feel as a family. Highly recommended!
TLE is not just a child care center it is a FAMILY. I have 2 children who attend this center and they absolutely adore it. They love their teachers so much that they ask to go to daycare on the weekends!! They get so excited knowing they get to go every day. I cannot thank Ms. Tenea, Ms. Dani, Ms. Taylor, Ms. Nadia, Ms. Bada, Ms. Hannah & Ms. Maria enough for showing my children the love & care that they do every day. I notice an increase in their learning and interest in learning every day. If I could give TLE Ashburn 100 stars I would!!!

My son has been at this location for 3 years. He has enjoyed all the teachers and has developed great relationships with them. The staff works really hard to make a great environment for everyone. They go over and beyond their normal everyday duties. We appreciate the school, the teachers and staff very much.
The learning experience is an amazing daycare! They have a curriculum each month that covers different topics. They help our child learn so much from abcs at the age of 2 to also being able to count to 10 already! He learns the importance of cleaning up. The teachers and staff are so friendly, caring, and welcoming. Everyone says hi with a smile and chats and just truly loves the children at the school.
We love The Learning Experience – Ashburn! The staff truly cares about each family, and it shows in everything they do. Our son has gained confidence, learned so much, and developed strong friendships. The teachers balance structure with creativity perfectly, and we couldn’t imagine him anywhere else.
From the moment we toured TLE Ashburn, we knew it was the right fit. The teachers are professional and nurturing, and our child’s development has been incredible. Highly recommend!

Some of the most meaningful feedback we receive is about the tangible growth and academic progress parents see in their children after enrolling at our Center.

Both of my kids attend The Learning Experience - Ashburn, and we’ve had a great experience! The staff is kind, professional, and incredibly supportive. The school is clean, organized, and offers so many great programs within the curriculum, plus special fun events the kids always look forward to. My girls especially love summer camp! We are grateful to have found a place where they feel happy, supported, and excited to learn every day.
We are so happy with our experience at The Learning Experience of Ashburn. Our son has been a student there for two semesters, and the progress we've seen is amazing. The staff, from the director to every teacher, is caring, dedicated, and provides such a welcoming atmosphere. Our son loves going to school, has made great friends, and is constantly coming home excited about what he's learned. This is a top-notch preschool, and we couldn't recommend it more.
We couldn’t be more thankful for the care and support our child has received at TLE. As parents of a toddler on the spectrum….finding a safe, nurturing, and understanding environment was our top priority—and this daycare has exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff are incredibly patient, compassionate, and knowledgeable about supporting children with diverse needs. They’ve gone above and beyond to understand our son’s unique communication style and sensory preferences. Most importantly, our son is genuinely happy and excited to go each day. During the summer our school aged daughter enjoyed TLE field trips and activities. We highly recommend TLE to any family looking for a supportive and inclusive environment for their child.
The Learning Experience was a nurturing environment for our son. We feel as though the curriculum prepared our little one for kindergarten.

One of the most common reasons families choose The Learning Experience Ashburn is our whole-child approach to kindergarten readiness.
My daughter has been attending TLE since January. We couldn’t be more happier with the decision to enroll her. She has been thriving there. All staff from the director, to teachers and assistants are amazing. They truly care for each child as their own. I don’t need to seek them out to ask questions about my child’s day. I am updated daily, through apps, reports, in person conversations etc, and this shows how much attention they are paying to each child, how observant and focused they are. The school is very clean, the curriculum is amazing, and my daughter enjoys going every day. Highly recommend TLE Lansdowne. Special shout out to the director Ms. Tenea and PS1B teacher Ms. Taylor. They are amazing.
This will be my 2nd child attending TLE (The Learning Experience). My Middle child attended TLE from 2016-2019 & enjoyed every min of it. My youngest child is currently attending and has been here for about 5 months and have noticed a drastic change :) :) in his learning ability, energy, & excitement compared to where he was previously just a few miles away. The director & staff has been so patient (so so so patient) with him. When I had my initial meeting with Ms. Starks (the director), I had express my frustrations & concerns with the previous center we had him with (TLE competitor). My concerns was related to Health, learning abilities, & security of the facility. TLE Ashburn has met and exceeded all of my concerns. There are constant activities based around the kids going on. Meals are included in the tuition. My son has fun learning and I feel he has been brought up to speed in terms of learning abilities compared to where he was previously. The teacher(s) makes a good effort of giving me a verbal summary of how he is doing when I arrive to pick him up. The student size is small which allows 2 teachers to every room. My picky eater son clears his plate while at school (i see the proof on his clothes when he comes home), which lets me know he is well fed. The facility has not been open long, so it still has some of the new smell to it & the bldg is always clean. Each family has a key fob for security to get thru all the doors & there is always someone at the front to greet you. The school has been offering extra curricular activities if they have enough student participation. My son just finished 8-wks of soccer & now he is running around the house thinking he is Neymar. Your kids will get plenty of Vitamin D a.k.a. the sun. They usually go outside twice a day when its spring & summer (again I see the proof on his clothes when he comes home). For all you "love birds" or "stressed out parents", TLE has been offering a parents night out usually on a Friday. You can bring your TLE child and the school will babysit for a couple of hrs, so that the adults can have some "therapeutic time". Recently, there has not been enough interest, so they have skipped the opportunity. The center also offers early drop off which starts at 630AM. My son is always there around this time since I work in DC. Even at that early time & my son is grouchy (I'll admit it), the staff still has smiles on their face (& coffee in their hands). Overall this center is well managed & growing rapidly. To bad this will be my last child attending.
I am extremely satisfied with our experience at The Learning Experience Ashburn. The teachers and staff have done an outstanding job in nurturing my son's development. The teaching methods used are top-notch. They strike a perfect balance between structured learning and play-based discovery. My son has learned so much while having fun! School keeps us informed about daily activities, milestones, and upcoming events.
My wife and I recently moved to the area with our baby and the first thing we had to look for, was a daycare. We were a little nervous because our last experience in the area we used to live hadn’t been good with other daycares. From day 1 when we got to meet the learning experience we got very impressed. Ms Tenea was so warm and welcoming. She walked us through how they map behaviors and activities to curriculum, so that you can understand your child development in the classroom. After signing up, indeed everything lives to par. The most important thing with the little ones is that the people caring for them, like them and give them love. That happens and more. Our little one loves Ms Nasreen and all the other care professionals as well, he actually looks forward going to the daycare in the morning. Ms Kim and Ms Alicia are awesome too, very flexible and on top of everything always. You really feel part of the place as an extension of family. They really love the kids, they accompany your child development exactly to your needs and help in the unknowns as well. We really couldn’t ask for more. Incredible staff, incredible place, and they are always engaging the kids in fun and learning activities which you see through pictures and events published in their app daily, even the infants are very engaged in activities as well, which is something we didn’t get in previous places. 10/10 recommend this place and their exceptional staff. TLE family you are amazing!!! :)

We recently moved to Ashburn and chose The Learning Experience for our 2 year old . As he has never been around anyone else but me and my husband we really wanted a place he could easily adapt to and enjoy; the TLE was the perfect choice . I really enjoy the app and getting updates throughout the day and photos of him learning and enjoying himself . Everyone at the TLE is warm welcoming and helpful . The teachers extremely patient and caring. The TLE is truly wonderful ! Thank you !
We're huge fans of TLE! The awesome teachers and the sweetest team we now consider our extended family. It's a bit bittersweet to write this review because I'm super excited for my little one to start Kindergarten but also a bit sad that he won't be with TLE anymore. Big shoutouts to Ms. Michelle, who is not just a favorite among the kids but also the parents. The way she connects with every child and parent is just amazing, making sure they're all in good hands! Love You Ms. Michelle
My grandson is attending this daycare and loves it! My daughter is able to share pictures with me of his day and it always looks like he is having a great time! He loves the playground here and now when we go to the park at home he is so much more confident and ready to explore. He is also learning basic sign language and can sign "eat" and "more". I can truly see a positive difference in my grandson and I love it. TLE is an answer to a prayer for us!
I really like this school, the teacher are amazing friendly and love what they do, I also love the curriculum.
