I grew up in Bethpage, New York, with my parents and eight siblings, where my love of family and caring for children began. I married my high school sweetheart, and together we have four beautiful children. Today, two of my daughters work alongside me at TLE Rocky Point, and three of my grandchildren attend our school—with hopes of welcoming more grandchildren in the years ahead! With degrees in Psychology and Early Childhood Education, I opened and operated my own home daycare before joining the TLE family nearly 20 years ago. In a short time, I grew from preschool teacher to Director to Owner, bringing my vision for our school to life. Along the way, I’ve poured my heart into building TLE Rocky Point into the school it is today: a place where children are known and loved, teachers are encouraged to shine, and families feel a true sense of belonging. As a professional storyteller, I love bringing stories to life and sparking children’s imaginations. Creating a school filled with that same wonder, creativity, and love has been one of my life’s greatest joys.

Hi, I’m Alyssa, Director of TLE Rocky Point! My first-ever job was right here at TLE as a floater when I was 17. Even as college and teaching took me in different directions, I always found my way back, including spending my college summers working at our summer camp. Coming back as Director feels especially meaningful because TLE has been part of my life for so long. I studied English and Spanish at the University at Albany and earned my master’s degree in Teaching English from Brooklyn College. I have over a decade of classroom experience, including teaching middle school English in Brooklyn in honors, special education, and ESL settings. I also led curriculum development, which gave me a lasting love for finding creative ways to bring lessons to life. That’s one of the things I love about working with TLE’s L.E.A.P. curriculum—making learning meaningful and exciting for our children. I want them to surprise themselves with how much they can do and know how loved they are along the way. Outside of school, I love spending time with my husband, our son, and our dog, Fable. I’m happiest with a good book or a creative project underway, especially when it involves making something that brings a little magic to my son’s world. And as a book lover, I’ll always have a soft spot for Phoebe!

TLE has been a special part of my life as both a parent and an educator. I’m the proud mother of two TLE Rocky Point graduates, and I began my career as a toddler teacher in another TLE location. In 2009, I transferred to Rocky Point with my nine-week-old baby. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work in every classroom before becoming Business Manager. Those experiences help me understand and support our school from many perspectives, and I love being part of a community where children and families grow together.

I’ve been part of The Learning Experience family since February 2019 and have spent 29 years working with children of all ages, including in special education. I’ve been married for 39 years and have two children and two grandsons, who both attend TLE Rocky Point. Having them here makes our school even more special to me! I love helping children learn and grow. Outside of school, I enjoy drawing, gardening, and birdwatching—interests that inspire creativity and curiosity in my work with children. I’m certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED and Medication Administration Training (MAT).

I have been working for The Learning Experience Rocky Point since March 2012. I have lived in Arizona, and Nevada, but I always seem to find my home back in New York. I've been married since December 2022. I have a 4 year certification in American Sign Language and graduated SWR High School in 2012. I enjoy spending time with my 4 nephews, and going to the beach. I am MAT certified and have Adult and Pediatric Frist Aid/CPR/AED by American Red Cross.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Justice Studies and studied American Sign Language for several years. I love sharing ASL with the children and helping them discover new ways to communicate. I have a passion for LEGOs and sharing that excitement with the children as we build, imagine, and create together. My two nephews and my niece attend TLE Rocky Point, so getting to see them every day makes being part of our school even more special!

I have been working at TLE since 2019. I have been a Preschool Teacher for seven years. Teaching children is my favorite thing to do. I have my CDA. I have two beautiful children. My favorite animals are Cats and Llamas. I am Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certified by American Red Cross.

I’ve been part of the TLE family since 2017. As one of eight children and a mom of two girls, I’ve always treasured the joy and connection that family brings. I love spending time with my family and making memories together, and I bring that same sense of care and belonging to my classroom. Helping children feel loved and creating happy moments in their day are what make my work so meaningful.

I have been working at TLE Rocky Point since 2022. I have been working with kids for six years at a local public school. I have one daughter of my own who is 11. I enjoy getting to help the children learn new things. I am Adult and Pediatric First Aid and CPR certified through the American Red Cross.

I have been working at TLE since 2021. I have a degree in theology and minor in children's ministry. I have a 10 year old. I love working with children. They always bring a smile to my face.

I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and have been part of The Learning Experience family since 2022. Outside of school, I love spending time with my wonderful husband and our son, who is my best friend. Each day, I look forward to caring for the babies in my classroom, helping them explore through play, and celebrating their newest milestones. I graduated from Sacred Heart University in 2021 and have been part of the TLE family since 2022. Growing up with two younger siblings helped inspire my love of working with children. I enjoy listening to music and bringing that joy into the classroom through songs and movement. I’m also certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED through the American Red Cross, helping me support a safe, caring environment where children can learn and grow.

I have been working at TLE since 2024. I moved to the United States from Turkey, where I graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I love getting to play with the children every day.

I returned to the TLE family in 2022 with a bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Elementary Education. My favorite part of teaching preschool is watching children become more confident, independent, and excited to learn. I love helping them build a strong foundation for kindergarten while giving them plenty of opportunities to play, explore, and enjoy being little. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, listening to music, taking walks, and visiting the beach. I have been working at TLE since 2017. I grew up in Miller Place. I used to be a baker and a chocolatier, and I still love to do it as a hobby. I love to do make-up and hair on the side. I’ve been working with children since I was 18 years old and joined the TLE family in 2024. As a mother of two daughters and someone who has been married for over 30 years, family holds a special place in my heart. I bring that same care to my classroom, helping children feel loved, supported, and proud of all they are learning.

Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to work with children. Growing up as an only child, I always wished for younger siblings to care for. Now, seeing the children’s smiles every day is one of my favorite parts of working here! I also love sharing little things about myself—like my favorite colors, pink and red—and getting to know each child’s favorites, too.

I’m currently studying at St. Joseph’s University to become an early childhood educator. I love helping children discover new things and grow more confident as they learn. Outside of school, I enjoy playing soccer, which has taught me the value of teamwork, patience, and encouragement—qualities I bring to the classroom every day.

I am attending Suffolk Community College, majoring in Early Childhood Education. I love cats and have seven of them. I enjoy sunsets and spending time with my family. As a child, I attended Rocky Point TLE. The experience inspired me to focus my career in education and to return back here as a teacher.

I love dancing, traveling, and spending time with my family. Working with children gives me the chance to share that joy of movement and discovery while helping them learn and grow. I enjoy encouraging their curiosity, celebrating their progress, and making each day together special.

I am studying Early Childhood Education. My goal is to become a teacher because I love working with children.

I love exploring new places, from traveling to different states and countries to hiking in mountains and parks. In my free time, I enjoy reading mysteries, drawing, and painting in my sketchbook. I bring that same curiosity and creativity to working with children, encouraging them to explore, ask questions, and express themselves.

I am attending Stony Brook University. My favorite animal is a cat, and I have two at home. Their names are Demi and Nia. I love the possibility of having a future career in education.

I have two children. I am from Turkey. I moved to America in 2026, and now live in Rocky Point. I enjoy spending time with my family, including my son and daughter (who also attends TLE!). I am so thankful and thrilled to be working for Rocky Point TLE.
