My wife and I have been married for 30 years, and together we’ve raised our children right here in Pickerington. Our kids attended and graduated from Pickerington schools, giving our family deep roots and lasting connections within the community. Beyond business ownership, I have always been actively involved in my children’s lives, including coaching their youth sports teams. Supporting young people—both on the field and in the classroom—has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life. I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science, which has shaped my problem-solving mindset and commitment to building strong, well-organized systems. I bring that same dedication, structure, and attention to detail into operating a safe, nurturing, and high-quality childcare environment. Our family believes in being actively involved and giving back to the Pickerington community. Leonard Tinsley is a proud long-term resident of Pickerington and co-owner of this The Learning Experience center. A 2002 graduate of Pickerington High School Central, Leonard has called Pickerington home for more than 30 years and is deeply rooted in the community. Leonard is married to his wife, Monique Tinsley, and together they are the proud parents of three boys who have grown up in the Pickerington school system — including one 2022 alumnus and two currently enrolled. Their family’s experience within Pickerington Local School District has strengthened Leonard’s commitment to supporting local families and investing in quality early education. For more than 10 years, Leonard has been actively involved in Pickerington mentoring and sports, supporting both recreational and travel baseball programs. Through coaching and community engagement, he has built lasting relationships and a strong connection with families throughout the area. His passion for children, education, and community drives his leadership at The Learning Experience, where he is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for every child and family served

My name is Eney Banks, and I bring over 15 years of experience in the early childhood education field. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching and supporting children ranging from infancy through 8th grade, allowing me to develop a well-rounded understanding of child development across multiple age groups. I have also held several leadership roles, including Center Director, Site Director, Youth Program Coordinator, and Lead Teacher. These experiences have strengthened my ability to lead teams, support families, and create high-quality learning environments. In addition to my teaching and leadership experience, I am a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), specializing in working with children who exhibit behavioral challenges. I am deeply committed to creating supportive, inclusive environments where every child can thrive and reach their full potential. I am currently continuing my education as I pursue my undergraduate degree in Family and Youth Studies, further strengthening my knowledge and passion for working with children and families. Originally from Lima, Ohio, I have been living in Columbus for the past three years and am proud to serve this community. Outside of the classroom, I am also a chef and the owner of a small food business, Nay’s Dreamy Fixings LLC. This creative outlet reflects my passion for bringing joy to others in meaningful ways. I am a proud mother of two daughters, ages 18 and 23, who continue to inspire me both personally and professionally. I am extremely excited to be a part of the TLE-Pickerington family and look forward to making a positive impact and accomplishing amazing things together.

Janelle Glover is a dedicated childcare professional with over six years of experience supporting the growth and development of young children. She has a particular passion for working with preschool-aged children, where she finds great joy in witnessing their learning, curiosity, and developmental progress each day. Originally from Ashville, Ohio, Janelle is married and a proud parent of five children, whom she loves deeply. Her personal experiences as a parent further enrich her compassionate and nurturing approach in the classroom. In her free time, Janelle enjoys reading, coloring, completing logic puzzles, and cross-stitching hobbies that reflect her creativity and attention to detail. At The Learning Experience Pickerington, Janelle is committed to creating a positive, engaging environment filled with laughter, learning, and meaningful connections. She strives to deliver high-quality curriculum experiences that support each child’s individual growth and inspire a lifelong love of learning.
