I want to share a very detailed review of our experience at this school, because after visiting 10 different daycares in the area and switching between 2 different schools before this one, I can say with full confidence that this was by far the best experience for my daughter.
Support and Staff
The staff here are incredibly supportive from day one. Every teacher is competitive in the best sense, meaning they are skilled, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child's progress. There is not a single teacher I would say we did not like. The owner of the school is kind and warm, yet I always see her actively present, walking around, checking in, and clearly maintaining excellent control and oversight of the entire school. There is always a staff member at the front desk, so you never feel unattended when dropping off or picking up.
Cleanliness & Security:
This is hands down the cleanest school we have visited. The classrooms are big and filled with a wide variety of toys. Security is also very well thought out, with double doors and cameras throughout, so you always feel your child is safe. If any accident happens, whether caused by your child or to your child, they inform you promptly. Each child also has their own separate cubby, which helps keep things organized and hygienic.
Potty Training Approach:
One thing I really appreciated was their honesty and guidance. We started potty training at school, while she still wore a diaper at home. As she developed better control, I gradually started removing the diaper, first during the day, then eventually at night too. What stood out to me was that the teachers were not just training her, they were educating us as parents along the way. They also used story time to teach the kids about not going potty in a diaper. It genuinely felt like having a specialist potty training service, similar to what you would pay extra for elsewhere, except it was built right into their everyday teaching.
Fun Based Learning:
Everything they advertise about fun based learning is genuinely true. They maintain a structured yet flexible schedule for the kids, including morning yoga, exercise, and nap time. My daughter has become very flexible and adaptable because of this consistent routine.
Activities and Enrichment:
They bring in a soccer coach for the kids, and I was honestly amazed watching my 2.5 year old daughter actually participate and play. They also incorporate wonderful role play activities like doctor, firefighter, and police officer, which my daughter absolutely loves. In the summer, they have a splash pad day, sometimes called water day, and this is genuinely the thing my daughter will miss the most from this school.
Character Based Learning:
They use various characters to teach kids important life lessons, things like technology awareness, a bubble elephant character, and Penny Polite for teaching manners. Thanks to this school, my daughter has learned how to be nice, kind, and gentle with other children.
Little Extras That Matter:
Sometimes they offer special treats for the kids like pancakes or pizza, and I do not believe they charge extra for this. What I appreciated most is that they message parents in advance, so if you do not want your child to have a treat or want to request a modified portion, you absolutely can. You can also arrange your child's birthday party right at the school with their school friends, and the kids genuinely love this idea. They also share pictures of the kids every single day, which makes it so easy to feel connected to what your child is doing while you are away.
Practical Benefits:
They offer employer discounts and are FSA eligible, which was a huge help for us financially. The outdoor play area is spacious, shaded, and very safe.
10 months old to 2 yrs 10 months I could not have asked for a better environment for her early development. Her confidence and learning grew so much during her time here. Highly, highly recommended for any parent looking for a nurturing, safe, and genuinely fun learning environment for their little one.
