Kathy has been working in this field for almost 30 years and we are so very lucky to have her. Her role as Master Teacher allows us to benefit from her many years of experience and the wealth of knowledge she shares with our staff. We are so fortunate to have her as part of our team and truly can’t imagine the center without her.

My journey in early childhood education started almost 20 years ago when I made a drastic career change from working in the film industry in Los Angeles to becoming a 2 year old teacher in a small preschool in Pacific Palisades, California...and I have never looked back. After 5 years of being a teacher, I became the Director and have since run 3 different schools in California. When a possibility of moving to Illinois became a reality last year, I was thrilled to find a home at TLE Lake Zurich. I am excited at the growth of our center, and with every new family joined and new teacher hired, we are continuing to create an environment that instills a lifelong love of learning in all children, and a home away from home for our families. My move from California was a big adjustment, but what I have found in life is that home really is where the heart is, and my heart is right here at TLE.

I have very happily been working with children for over 9 years now. After graduating from UW Whitewater with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, I started working with young children and came to the realization that this was where my true passion was. After moving to Illinois in early 2019 I began working as Toddler teacher at TLE Lake Zurich, which I loved, but after being given the opportunity to become Assistant Director I jumped at the chance. My weekends and evenings are spent with my husband Zach, my son Brody and our baby girl, Chloe :)

Before coming to The Learning Experience, I worked in the child welfare system for 14 years where I worked with newborns all the way up to twenty-years old. Working in the child welfare system gave me a wide variety of experiences that I am now able to apply to my current position here at TLE Lake Zurich. It is my goal each and every day, to make sure our families feel at home and our children are safe while they are laughing, learning and playing. When I am not at TLE you can find me at home, having fun playing with my daughters.

When Kelly started at our center in March of 2019 she was a Toddler teacher, and since has worked with 2 year olds and now our Infants. She brings laughter, vitality and fun to every classroom she is in. When she's not at the center, you will find her spending time with her beloved family and friends.

Ms. Chloe has been working with children her entire life, from babysitting to helping at an elementary school. Her passion for kids shines through, and she hopes to one day become an elementary school teacher.

Ilda has worked in childcare since 2013, and for most of that time with Infants. She has 3 wonderful children, and loves being a mom, but also loves being a teacher. We are so lucky to have her at the center and with her Preschooler son.

Marlene came to us through a referral from one of our families who gave us glowing reports on her interactions with their children. So it was really no surprise to discover that Marlene is an excellent and intuitive teacher and we are lucky to have her at our center.

Harriet brings a wealth of international experience to our team, having worked as an assistant teacher and early learning tutor in Dubai using the British curriculum. Her patience and warmth shine through in everything she does, and she has blossomed into a wonderful Infant room teacher. We are so grateful to have her!

Ms. Alondra loves working with our Toddlers! This is the first center she has worked at, and she is loving it. When she is not at work, you can find her spending time with family, listening to music and taking care of her dog.

Jessie has been with us since we first opened in 2018. She has been in this field for 17 years and her experience is evident every day. She is an incredible teacher, we call her "The Baby Whisperer". When she's not here at the center you can find her at home being an equally fantastic mom to her two sons.

Yocelyn came to us as a brand new teacher, and we love how she has grown and developed into a seasoned teacher. She is a wonderful mommy to her little girl, who gets to come to school with her every day

Allie has been a valued member of our team since September 2019, working with Preppers, Toddlers, Infants and now in Preschool! Outside of her time at TLE, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends, her Prepper daughter and Infant baby boy!

Ms. Oksana brings a wealth of experience to our team, with 12 years of teaching in her home country of Ukraine before making Lake Zurich her home three years ago. A mother of two, she loves filling her spare time with reading, cooking, music, and cherishing moments with family and friends. We are so happy to have her expertise and warmth in our classroom!

Lexi worked with us when we first opened and is now back with us, this time bringing her Preschool son and Toddler girl with her. Shas been working with young children for over 7 years and we are extremely happy to have her back at the center with us as our Preschool 3 teacher and Admin Assistant

Jacqui started with us in October 2021, but her years of experience in this field go way beyond that. She not only opens the center for us each day, but also manages the food, ensuring everyone's nutritional needs are met.

We are so lucky to have Ms. Gaby with our preschoolers! She loves bringing her creative side into the classroom, and the kids are having a blast with all of the fun and engaging curriculum she puts together.

Ms. Kelli is a perfect fit for our Twaddlers! She loves this age because the kids are right on the cusp of independence — which makes for a busy, exciting room. Ms. Kelli thrives in it and cherishes watching all the growth and development happening every day

Kala grew up in Wisconsin and loves returning home to spend time with family. She shares her life with two beloved cats and has a special place in her heart for the two-year-olds in her class — cherishing every chance to learn and grow right alongside them.

Ariany is currently in college working toward her Associate's Degree in Nursing. She has a creative spirit and loves spending her time doing arts and crafts while listening to music. Working with young children is a brand new adventure for her — and one she is absolutely loving every step of the way!
