Do you prepare children for kindergarten?
Our proprietary curriculum supports the growth of the whole child through meaningful, age-appropriate learning experiences across key developmental domains, achieving 97% kindergarten readiness among assessed preschoolers, measured independently by COR Advantage during the 2025-2026 school year.
How do you support early learning and development?
The L.E.A.P. curriculum addresses cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and creative development. Teachers use a mix of play-based exploration and structured activities tailored to each age group, with regular developmental milestone tracking and parent communication on progress.
What makes the L.E.A.P. curriculum different from other programs?
L.E.A.P. integrates character-based social-emotional learning into every lesson through proprietary characters like Bubbles, Penny Polite, and Grace and Charity. It combines academic readiness with emotional intelligence development, which is not standard in most childcare curricula.
What programs do you offer?
Our Winter Garden center offers age-specific classrooms from Infants through Pre-K, plus enrichment programs included in tuition: Little Engineers, Little Musicians, Little Goal Getters, STEM and coding, phonics with Phoebe Phonics, sign language with Gibby Gibbon, foreign language with Ping Panda (Mandarin) and Tito Toro (Spanish), fitness with Flexi Flamingo, manners with Penny Polite, and philanthropy with Grace and Charity.
What curriculum do you use?
We use our proprietary L.E.A.P. curriculum, organized into three pillars: Language and Literacy (phonics, sign language, foreign language), STEM (science, math, technology via L.E.A.P. Interactive boards), and Whole-Child Wellness (fitness, manners, philanthropy). It is play-based and structured, developed by early childhood education experts.
Are your staff certified in CPR and First Aid?
Yes. Every staff member at our Winter Garden center is background-checked, CPR-certified, and First Aid-certified. Certifications are renewed annually, and we conduct monthly safety drills.
What safety measures are in place?
Our Winter Garden center uses secure entry with classroom phones providing direct 911 access, live-feed security monitors for staff, door alarms, outdoor security cameras, medical-grade air filtration, age-appropriate sanitized equipment, monthly safety drills, and background-checked staff. The facility also has parking-lot bollards, finger guards on doors, and supervised lobby entry.
How do you ensure child supervision?
We maintain teacher-to-child ratios that meet or exceed state requirements. Children are never left unsupervised, and all transitions between areas are conducted with headcounts.
What are your check-in and check-out procedures?
Parents use our secure keypad and biometric entry system. Each child has an authorized pickup list on file. Photo ID is required for anyone not previously verified in person. No child is released to an unauthorized individual under any circumstances.
What qualifications do your teachers have?
Our teachers hold degrees or credentials in Early Childhood Education (CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's). All staff complete comprehensive background checks, maintain CPR and First Aid certification, and receive ongoing professional development including curriculum training, safety updates, and child development workshops.

What are your operating hours?
Our Winter Garden center operates Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, year-round.
What is your nutrition policy?
We offer flexibility in providing meals while maintaining strict guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children at our center. All centers must provide a minimum of two snacks daily for the first six months of operation. Afterward, they must provide a minimum of two snacks and lunch daily. Centers may choose to provide lunch from the beginning, depending on their financial capacity or state requirements. In cases where a center does not provide lunch during the initial six months, parents/guardians are responsible for providing a nutritious lunch for their children. The center must have nutritious lunch options available to accommodate allergy or dietary restrictions or preferences.
Can I send food with my child?
Lunches and snacks from home are highly discouraged due to allergy and food sensitivity concerns in the classroom. If sent, food must be nonperishable, kept in the child’s lunch box, and screened by staff before serving.
Can you accommodate food allergies or dietary restrictions?
We take every precaution to ensure that children with food allergies are safe and well-cared for in our center. Open communication with parents/guardians, thorough documentation, and a commitment to providing alternatives when necessary are key components of our approach.
Do you provide meals and snacks?
Yes. We provide AM snack, lunch, and PM snack daily on a 5-week rotating menu approved by a certified dietitian. Vegetarian alternatives are offered at every lunch.
What happens if my child gets sick during the day?
If your child becomes ill while at the center, we will contact you and provide appropriate care until pickup. Staff will complete a Report of Child Illness documenting the symptoms, care provided, and when you were notified, and you will be asked to sign the report at pickup.
How do you handle medications?
Medications can only be administered with a signed parent authorization form and must be in the original container with the child’s name and dosage instructions. Our staff follow strict protocols for storage and administration.
When can my child return after being sick?
Children must be symptom-free (no fever, vomiting, or diarrhea) for 24 hours without medication before returning to the center.
What is your sick child policy?
To help protect the health of all children and staff, children who are ill should remain home until they have been symptom-free and fever-free for 24 hours. A child may return sooner with a doctor’s note confirming they are not contagious and are cleared to return.
How do I receive updates about my child?
Parents are kept informed through the use of a secure, parent communication app called Bubbles and Friends. This app provides everyday photos of your little one, notifications about your child’s care and activities, and monthly newsletter and calendar events, ensuring parents are always connected and informed about their child’s day.
Do you provide daily reports or photos?
Yes. Through the Bubbles and Friends app, you receive daily updates including what your child ate, nap times, diaper changes (for younger children), activities completed, and photos from the day.
How do I communicate with teachers?
You can message teachers directly through the parent app, speak with them at drop-off and pickup, or schedule a formal conference. Our open-door policy means you are always welcome to visit or observe your child’s classroom.
Can parents visit or observe the classroom?
Yes. We maintain an open-door policy. Parents are welcome to visit at any time. We also host regular family events, conferences, and curriculum nights throughout the year.
How do you help children adjust to a new daycare?
We use a gradual transition approach. New families can schedule shorter visits before the official start date. Teachers maintain consistent routines, offer comfort items from home, and provide extra one-on-one attention during the adjustment period.
How do you support transitions between classrooms?
When children are ready to move to the next classroom, we use a phased transition that includes visits to the new room, introductions to new teachers, and communication with parents about the timeline. Teachers from both rooms coordinate to ensure continuity.
What if my child has separation anxiety?
Separation anxiety is normal and expected. Our teachers are trained in gentle separation strategies: consistent goodbye routines, distraction with engaging activities, and regular updates to parents throughout the day. Most children adjust within one to two weeks.
What supplies are provided by the center?
We provide all meals and snacks, learning materials, art supplies, sunscreen (with parent authorization), and cleaning supplies. Parents provide diapers, wipes, a change of clothes, and any special comfort items.
What should my child wear each day?
Dress your child in comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing that allows for active play and easy diaper changes. Closed-toe shoes are required. We recommend sending a spare outfit in case of spills or messy activities.
Do I need to label my child’s belongings?
Yes. Please label all items (bottles, sippy cups, blankets, extra clothing) with your child’s name. This helps us keep track of belongings and prevents mix-ups between classrooms.
What should I bring on my child’s first day?
Bring a change of clothes, diapers and wipes (if applicable), a comfort item (blanket or stuffed animal), and any required forms. Our center provides all meals, snacks, and learning materials. We will give you a detailed checklist at enrollment.
Do you offer flexible payment options?
Yes. We offer multiple payment options including weekly and monthly billing. Contact our center to learn about current payment plans and any available discounts for siblings or military families.
