Hi, my name is Qabas Alashaab. I’m a teacher at the Learning Experience at Summer Creek. I’m originally from Iraq but I’ve lived in almost 10 counties before finally settling in Fort Worth, TX. I graduated high school in 1999 and then earned a degree in physics from the University of Baghdad in 2004. Taking care of children has always been a passion of mine. Ever since I was kid, I had to be the second mom in my house since I’m the oldest sister. I’m a proud mother of 2 successful boys, they’re my biggest source of inspiration and glee. I started my career in education in Dubai as a teacher in 2004. Seeing my students grow and learn in front of my very own eyes brings me endless joy and happiness. I love learning Outside of work I spend my free time reading and collecting books, shopping for clothes or cooking new recipes.
