I am a returning parent after the school has closed and gained new ownership. My previous experience was not great. My son was enrolled into the school for 2 months in the beginning of 2026. During that 2 months I was excited to get my son around other children, with this being his first daycare, and we planned on being long term until he went to elementary. During those two months the school was terrible. My son was not able to attend the school for multiple reasons that were not our own doing and the communication was terrible. For example the school decided they were closed due to not having enough staff but I had walked through the door with my son already. We also had issues with being charged multiple months at a time instead of the planned payment agreement that was signed. When talking with the previous owners there was always talk of not knowing or them having to talk with one another and get back to me. I also had a situation where there was law enforcement/ cps in the school when I came to pick up my son early but they were napping. I was stopped and asked for my information and questions about the school and staff which was so alarming but as parents we were never notified of reason for this. The staff has always been wonderful and welcoming. I even had kept contact with some staff when the closure happened. The staff was stressed and never knew what the management was doing or had planned. Since we have returned, the school is WAY more welcoming and inviting including the new directors and owners with some familiar faces. They have more interaction with sending out messaging and communication to the parents via text and the application. I see a HUGE difference in the way that the staff comes in with smiles on there faces and even the way that the children are managed. Even small things like the front door glass being wiped off and wall decor not falling off. There is clear team work in that facility now and not just people who look stressed all the time and don’t know what is going on. If you decided that you did not want to come back due to the previous management, I would suggest to pop in and speak to the new owners and just see the changes that have been made to the facility.

Blue Springs families consistently report feeling secure about the supervision, entry protocols, and overall safety standards at our Center.
We have been one of the families that had our child attending the learning experience since the first day they opened. My daughter has always loved the school, thats why we stayed as long as we did though sometimes a lot of uncertainty has caused instability for her. We took a chance and returned after they reopened and we don't regret even a second. Her teacher is absolutely amazing, the front desk always welcoming and so happy to see her. The communication is amazing, the atmosphere is so calming and organized. The school absolutely took a turn for the best. I am hoping they will keep the good work because there is soo much potential.
I think it’s very important to call out that TLE Blue Springs is under new ownership! We first brought our son to TLE in July 2026 (previous ownership). We did not encounter any issues during the month we were there, and actually felt like it was a great fit for his needs. He turned 5 late summer, so we were looking for a “gap year” type program to better prepare for Kindergarten. That experience was cut very short, after one month of attendance we received a text that said the center would be closed temporarily. During the transition time of previous owners surrounding the business, corporate stepping in, and current ownership taking over, things were communicated very well. This speaks very loudly about the program as a whole - being that is a corporate business with local ownership. We had to find another place for our son for over a month (we chose another TLE location 30 minutes away), but ultimately made the decision to move him back to TLE Blue Springs once they reopened. A major concern I had prior to deciding, was if low enrollment would close the facility again. With corporate stepping in, and finding experienced ownership, we were assured that regardless of class enrollment, the center would remain open. Classes at this time are very small, but don’t let that turn you away! The director (Brittaney) and assistant director (Lizz) are both wonderful and have a very clear education background. I feel very supported in our journey to better prepare my son for Kindergarten. I would love to see more families join!

Clean school. Welcoming staff that are always friendly. The new owners I feel like have turned it around from where it was just last year. More organized.

One of the most common reasons families choose The Learning Experience Blue Springs is our whole-child approach to kindergarten readiness.
So grateful for this place!! The staff here really care and the leadership goes above and beyond to make sure that we feel comfortable. With them having multiple locations, I’m very grateful that we chose this one!!
When looking for a daycare it’s important that my child loves who they are with each day. And to say my child loves the staff is an understatement! She has to give them all hugs and tell them good morning and goodbye each day! We also really like the communication. That being said no place is perfect and I don’t expect any place to be. Careful, honest, clean, safe and welcoming that I do expect!
