Hello my name is Samantha Mangione and I am the Curriculum Coordinator at The Learning Experience in Waxhaw. I have over 20 years experience in childcare, along with my CDA in child development. My goal is to make this an exciting time of learning and discovery, with implementing a safe and loving learning environment for your child to grow!

My name is Janice and I was born in Germany. My Dad was in the military for 42 years and I mainly grew up in Germany, TX and NC. My husband, Justin-Kyle, is from South Africa and he runs our CPR company, Carolina's Premier Resource. I was a twaddler teacher for over 6 months before becoming the Director of our Charlotte2 location. Once the Tega Cay center opened in 2016, I became the Area Manager for both locations. I have been with TLE since October 2010 and I plan to retire with TLE. I love that TLE has a wide range of curriculum components, ranging from Sign Language to Social Studies and more! In my spare time, I enjoy traveling the world, shopping, and spending time with my family. Come visit me at one of my centers!

My name is Brittany Jones and I am so excited to introduce myself as the new Center Director here at The Learning Experience in Waxhaw! With 9 years of experience in early childhood education — including the past 3 years as a Center Director — I’ve had the privilege of working with children of all ages and supporting their growth during some of the most important years of their lives. What I love most about being a director is building lasting relationships with the children, their families, and my amazing staff. I truly believe a childcare center should feel like a second home — a place where children are excited to learn, parents feel confident and connected, and teachers feel supported and inspired. I strive to create a warm, fun, and welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors. A little about me personally: I’m married to my high school sweetheart, Chris, and we have two wonderful children — Easton (6) and Baylor Mae (3) — as well as three energetic cats who definitely keep life interesting! Please know that my door is always open. Whether you have questions, concerns, or just want to say hello, I’d love to hear from you. I truly can’t wait to get to know you and be a part of your child’s magical journey through their early years at TLE Waxhaw.

I have completed my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education this past May. I have been working in Toddlers for over 10 years. I have recently moved up to Assistant Director. I love to read, watch movies and I also love being outdoors with my husband and daughter.

Originally from Bakersfield, California, Alison now calls Fort Mill, South Carolina, her home. Since 2012, she has been an integral part of The Learning Experience, where she has opened several schools and spread happiness throughout all of their centers. Her passion for education and commitment to the brand have made a significant impact in her community. In her spare time, Alison enjoys creating lasting memories with her husband, Nick, and their two children, Preston and Olivia. Together, they cherish family adventures and the joys of everyday life.

I am a mother of 2 boys and I love hanging out with them on the weekends. I am certified as a medical assistant. I work as one of the main teachers in the infant classroom. I love watching them grow and I love watching them meet their milestones

Lisa has been with TLE since September 2021 and brings 20 years of experience in early childhood education, with a special focus on caring for infants. Her deep love for working with our little babies shines through in everything she does, as she provides a nurturing and supportive environment for each child. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and family, cherishing those special moments. We are grateful to have Lisa as a part of our team—her warmth and dedication make her a favorite among both our children and parents.

Inna has been with TLE for over two years, initially starting at our Ballantyne location in the infant program before moving to our Waxhaw location. She is the heartbeat of our infant program, where she loves working with the babies each day, supporting their growth in both gross and fine motor skills, and helping them explore the world around them. Inna’s warm and nurturing approach makes her a standout teacher in our infant program. During her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, cherishing those special moments. Inna's passion for early childhood development and her dedication to the children make her a truly valued member of our team.

Stephanie has been a valued member of our daycare team since January 2022. With a passion for working with young children, Stephanie creates a caring and engaging environment that encourages curiosity and growth. Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys hiking and riding horses, activities that reflect their love for nature and adventure. Stephanie brings this same enthusiasm and energy to their work, helping children explore, learn, and develop in a fun and supportive atmosphere.

Briana has been a valued member of the TLE team since March 2022. She is passionate about providing a safe and welcoming learning environment for every child who walks through the door. Briana enjoys offering early education to our little learners through a combination of play-based learning and teacher-directed activities, fostering both academic and personal growth. Outside of work, Briana loves hair fishing and thrift shopping, finding joy in these creative and relaxing hobbies. Her dedication to her students and her positive, nurturing approach make her an exceptional teacher and an important part of our team.

Hi! I'm Ms. Stacey, I'm excited to serve as a floating teacher. I have the unique opportunity to work with children across all age groups and classrooms, supporting both our little learners and teachers wherever I'm needed most. I've been working in early childhood education for 15 years and truly enjoy the variety and flexibility to connect with many different children and help provide a consistent, nurturing, and engaging learning environment throughout the day. It's a joy to be a part of such an important time in children's lives, and I'm honored to support their learning every step of the way.

Abigail has been with us since March 2022 and has quickly become a favorite among our preschool students. She is passionate about creating a positive, engaging environment where young learners can explore and grow. Abigail's warm and caring nature makes her a beloved teacher, and the students look forward to spending their days with her. In her free time, Abigail enjoys baking, shopping, and reading, hobbies that bring her joy and creativity. Hi, my name is Marsha, and I have been with TLE since May of 2022. I love working with my little learners each day and helping them express their feelings and emotions. Working in a preschool setting my goals for the families are, to build trust with my little ones and help them make friends all while working on fine and gross motor skills. My favorite TLE character is Bubbles the elephant!

I have been in childcare 15 years. I have 3 boys. I have 2 dogs and raise chickens and ducks. I love to read and run on the weekends. I'm always outside enjoying the sun and playing with my kids.

I'm Ms. Candace I've worked in childcare over 20 years. I have a daughter named Mahogany. My life motto: Be the change you want to see in the world- Gandhi. I love working with our curious and energetic 2/3 year olds and enjoy helping our little ones grow through play, exploration, and routine. My goal is to create a safe, loving space where our little ones can build confidence and learn at their own pace.

When I'm not in the kitchen, you might find me experimenting with new recipes or sharing a smile and a high five when serving food.
