As a first-time parent, choosing your child's care provider can be one of the most difficult decisions you can make; I am so relieved that we decided on The Learning Experience Ballantyne! From the moment we walk in the door, the staff (Tiffany, Maddie and Maggie) greets us warmly and knows our son by name, making drop-off a smooth and reassuring experience. The facility is clean and secure, and nothing is more important than knowing your child is safe and in a well-cared for environment. The app gives me peace of mind, as I love receiving photos and updates on what my child is doing/has done in the day! The activities and curriculum are both engaging and educational. I know that my son is not only learning, but he is happy, loved and supported. His Infant A and B teachers are all so incredibly nurturing, attentive, and communicative! We are so thankful for these wonderful teachers, and it is a true blessing to see our baby thriving and smiling! 

We moved to Fort Mill in the summer of 2024 and were on the lookout for a daycare that could handle our son’s ADHD. After doing some research and making a bunch of calls, we decided on The Learning Experience of Ballantyne. The place is really well-kept and has tons of fun activities to keep the kids busy, all while giving them a solid education. The staff is super welcoming and understanding of our son’s personality. They’ve been great about working with us to see positive results. We’re so happy and grateful to have found TLE — it’s honestly one of the best daycares we’ve sent our son to. He’s made great friends and lots of happy memories there, and we’d definitely recommend it to any parent. A big shout-out and thank you to Ms. Shanta for taking such good care of him, working with him, and setting clear expectations during class. We truly appreciate everything you have done, and you will be greatly missed!

We have had the most incredible experience with The Learning Experience (TLE) Ballantyne over the past several years, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the amazing staff—especially the front desk team who make every drop-off and pick-up feel so warm and welcoming. Our journey with TLE began when my son started attending at age 4. Now 8, he still talks fondly about his time there and how much he learned and grew. He entered kindergarten confident, prepared, and excited—all thanks to the foundation built at TLE. Now, as my daughter approaches her own preschool graduation, I find myself reflecting with so much gratitude on the role TLE has played in our family’s life. One of the greatest blessings throughout our time has been Mrs. Ashley. She has been a constant and a true gift to both of my children. Her care, passion, and dedication to her students shine in everything she does. Mrs. Ashley is not only a phenomenal teacher—she is a big reason why both of our children entered kindergarten thriving and ready to take on the world. Her impact will be felt for years to come. Thank you, TLE Ballantyne, for being such a special part of our lives. We are forever grateful for the love, care, and education you’ve provided our family!

All the teachers are amazing and very caring ! Every class my daughter has been in, my daughter misses the teacher. They play with them, teach them and my daughter being an only child has learn some amazing social skills from being around all the other students . I highly recommend I wish my daughter could stay in this school forever! I also love the app where I am constantly being updated thru out the day on what they are doing, with memos and photos!

All 3 of my kids have attended TLE Ramsey and have had wonderful experiences. Miss Melissa and Miss Merline have taken AMAZING care of my preschooler this year and she has learned so much while in their classroom. She often asks for them on the weekend or when we drive by the building. I know they are in good hands while I'm at work. That's exactly the piece of mind I need each day!

Our son is just now moving up from Infant A to Infant B. We cannot say enough positive things about Miss Irene and Miss Pam in Infant A. They understood any concerns I had and made sure he was always comfortable and happy. It's a terrifying thing leaving an infant with strangers, but they went out of their way to never let us feel that way. There was only one day in several months there that an equipment change made some challenges in that room for the staff and babies, and I worried about how much fun he'd have that day. They knew right away it wasn't going to work, and they had literally corrected the issue by lunchtime. I don't say that to knock the school (you have to try new things sometimes!), but to celebrate how quickly they listened to our concerns and reacted. All of the staff is excellent about listening, understanding, and working with you as a parent and your unique baby. Could not be happier with this choice!!

If my daughter could live at TLE, she would. Ok, I’m kidding but seriously she loves being at school. She started at TLE as a Prepper in Ms. Vicky and Ms. Kristen's class and quickly transitioned to Preschool 1 with Ms. Barbara. The amount of knowledge she has at the age of 3 is mind blowing. All the TLE staff members always go above and beyond to be loving and supportive of my sweet girl. Most importantly, the teachers at TLE provide the nurturing yet structured environment a child needs to grow and learn. My daughter will not leave school without going around giving every one a big hug and asking for a “smelly” scratch and sniff sticker. Seeing how happy she is with everyone there makes me know she’s in the best of hands.

My second child is in Ms. Jeanine's classroom right now, and I couldn't be more excited for him to get there after the experience my first child had! Ms. Jeanine, or "Nene" as the kids call her, is so warm and her energy is palpable the moment you drop off your child with her. She is a fantastic caretaker, but especially at this young age, you really learn how wonderful of a teacher Ms. Jeanine truly is. Both my children have learned so much from her and I look forward to picking up my little one and learning what new things he covered that day--from numbers, shapes, letters, animals--you name it! She also helps the children manage the relationships in the classroom and my child comes home not only talking about Nene but his other friends. After a recent vacation, my son wouldn't stop talking about and asking for Nene, which is all you need to know. Both kids and I look forward to seeing Nene every school day!

We have loved our Learning Experience (Ramsey). My daughter, Morgan has always flourished here! As a stay at home mom it was never my intention to send her to school early! I wanted to give her same time, play dates and experiences my son had! However, being born in 2019, threw us for a loop! Covid had taken away those milestones and experiences. There were no play dates to be had, there were no social experiences to be explored. We made a fantastic decision to send her to school early, to let her explore socially and academically. From the minute she arrived she found friends, learned how to NOT have all the attention, create bonds with her peers, teachers and the administration! As Morgan moves on to preschool, fully ready for the task ahead, our family reflects on what the school, teachers and staff did, and does to help her navigate the future While we know this is also a family financial obligation, it is clear we were able and glad to make the choice we did and we chose wisely!!! To the future, with all our thanks!

My son has been attending TLE Ramsey for a little over a year. He has been in 4 different rooms, which align with his developmental stage - one of my favorite things about TLE!! Every classroom has been in has been an incredible experience; he has had teachers that truly care for him. When he started as an infant, I was reassured that Ms. Irene and Ms. Pam treated him like their grandson. I wouldn't hesitate to trust these two wonderful ladies with a future baby :). In Infant B/Toddler A, he had Ms. Ayana, Ms. Ayeisha and Ms. Sam, where he thrived. He learned to feed himself, walk, and even love shoes (he hated shoes). Now my son is in Toddler B with Ms. Jeanine and there are not enough words to describe how wonderful she is. My son literally runs to his classroom, to his seat and demands her attention. Even on days when he doesn't want to "leave momma", Ms. Jeanine will scoop him up and everything is okay. She keeps us in the loops on the app all day and posts lots of pictures of my son thriving (and proof that he sits still). He is blossoming in this room as she truly teaches him to be more independent. She even writes notes home, gives us a heads up of concerns or just to let us know he had great day. We are so lucky, again, to have such a wonderful teacher, who cares for our son. It makes us happy to drop him off everyday and not have to worry.

My daughter has been at TLE Ramsey since 3 months old, and she’s now ready to move on from Toddler B to Twaddlers. I can’t thank all her teachers enough over the past 2 years who have helped and supported her growth. Ms. Jeanine makes learning fun and exciting! She has been my daughter’s biggest cheerleader the past 5 months. She’s extremely compassionate and exactly who you would want caring for your children. My daughter excitedly talks about “Nene” daily and I know she’s made a big impact on her in her short time in Toddler B. Thank you, Ms. Jeanine! For everything!

As a former daycare worker, and current teacher, I had high expectations when I started looking for a daycare for my toddler. I toured a lot of centers in the area and the only one I felt suitable was The Learning Experience in Ramsey. From the minute you walk in you are greeted with smiles and familiar faces. So many centers have high turn over rates with staff that make it hard for your child to bond, and for you as a parent to feel like your child is in safe hands. This isn't the case at TLE-Ramsey. Retaining staff for 10+ years shows the center is well run and staff are happy. In addition, the center is clean, clear of clutter, brightly lit and colorful. Each classroom is held to the same standard. I didn't expect my toddler to learn a lot in daycare. My main goal was her happiness and safety. But - she is learning songs, calendar information, turn taking, routine, and even Spanish. She is starting to write her name and can identify letters and numbers and even a few words. The best part of this center is that when my daughter misses a day of school, she is sad. She WANTS to be there. She is excited to see her teachers and friends. When I drop her off I know she is in capable hands.

Our daughter has been at TLE Ramsey from 4 months old to almost 5 years and we would not have her anywhere else. Everyone treated her as if she were their own child. She has also received excellent academic and social skills that will help her continue to grow and learn in Kindergarten. We love our TLE family and will greatly miss them!! My son had such a great experience with both Melissa and Merline in preschool 1. He has been at TLE since he was 13 months old. They are so engaged with the kids and offer a fun, warm and inviting learning environment. I am very grateful for the open communication as well. My son learned a ton being in that class! He continued to grow both personally & academically and looked forward to going to school each day!
