The Learning Experience®, one of the nation’s fastest-growing Academies of Early Education for children six weeks to six years old, has partnered with Make-A-Wish® to host the company’s first-ever virtual fundraiser, Bubbles’ Road to Wishes, beginning Monday, October 1, 2018. The month-long event will take place at The Learning Experience centers nationwide to raise funds and awareness for Make-A-Wish, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children diagnosed with critical illnesses.
Bubbles’ Road to Wishes will send The Learning Experience’s mascot Bubbles the Elephant® on a virtual fundraising journey across the United States. For every dollar raised during the campaign, Bubbles will advance one mile on his Road to Wishes. As Bubbles advances, more wishes can be granted. During the fundraiser, students will interact with Bubbles while learning about his destinations through souvenirs, letters, postcards, photos, and videos provided in the classroom.
Every center across the nation will come together to support the virtual fundraiser for Make-A-Wish as a part of the event and The Learning Experience’s ongoing philanthropy curriculum.
“We are extremely proud of our partnership with Make-A-Wish as we teach children across the country the value of generosity and kindness both in and out of the classroom,” said Andrew Alfano, President and Chief Operations Officer of The Learning Experience, and member of Make-A-Wish Southern Florida Board of Directors. “We anticipate a tremendous amount of participation and look forward to bringing communities together to raise awareness and grant wishes for children and families.”
Bubbles’ Road to Wishes is an extension of The Learning Experience’s proprietary philanthropy curriculum which was created in partnership with Make-A-Wish Southern Florida. The curriculum is dedicated to continuously teaching the youngest of learners the value and application of kindness and generosity in class, at home, and in their communities.
