Outside of her professional role, Sharde is a devoted wife and mother. She and her husband are proud parents to two children—an 18-year-old daughter and a 16-year-old son—who continue to inspire her every day. The family shares a deep love for animals and enjoys the companionship of their three beloved puppies. Sharde’s passion for children and education is more than just a career—it is her life’s calling. She is deeply committed to children, their families, and to fostering positive change in early childhood education. As the new director of The Learning Experience, she brings with her not only experience and dedication but also genuine excitement about joining a school that values growth, innovation, and the nurturing of every student and staff member’s potential. I’ve had the pleasure of working with children of all ages, and their energy and happiness inspire me every day. I’m a passionate and motivated teacher with over 15 years of experience working with children. My journey began as a nanny, which sparked my love for early childhood education and led me into a fulfilling career in childcare and teaching. In 2019, I made the exciting move from Connecticut to Florida, embracing new adventures both personally and professionally. I’m dedicated to creating nurturing, engaging learning environments, and I believe in the power of connection, curiosity, and lifelong learning. Outside the classroom, I enjoy exploring new experiences, getting lost in a good book, and going to concerts.

I am a dedicated early childhood educator with over 20 years of teaching experience in Venezuela and 2 years at TLE. With a degree in education, I bring patience, love, and joy to the classroom every day. I especially enjoy teaching children to speak Spanish and supporting their early learning journey

I served in the U.S. Navy as a Boatswain's Mate, where I was trusted with driving the ship and developed strong leadership and teamwork skills. Now, I'm pursuing Early Childhood Education and working toward my Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. Born in Brooklyn, NY, I spent 15 years working on Wall Street before starting my family in 1993—a turning point that led me to discover my true calling in early childhood education. I spent a decade as an infant teacher, nurturing little ones through their earliest milestones. In 2019, I moved to Florida and found a new home at The Learning Experience (TLE), where I not only continued my work with children but also discovered a new passion: cooking! Today, I’m grateful to do what I love every day—sharing joy through food and supporting young learners along the way.

With a background in real estate and a passion for nurturing growth, I currently care for my two-year-old daughter while pursuing my CompTIA A+ certification. My skills in organization and communication align with both early childhood education and my long-term goal of working in IT project management and development.
