Dr. Grace Huxtable-Mount is the owner of multiple branches of The Learning Experience. She has been a member of the TLE family since 2008, and her two amazing children are both TLE graduates. Her career in education spans over 20 years, including service as a preschool teacher, public school teacher, and several school leadership positions. Dr. Grace believes in the TLE mission of making a positive difference in the lives of children, their families, and the communities we serve. She loves the fact that we get to introduce academics to young children in a way that instills the idea that learning is fun, which is foundational to having a lifetime love of learning. She is passionate about building and uplifting the teachers and leaders of each center to be the very best educators that they can be. She enjoys the beach, cycling, traveling and spending time with her family.

Ms. Trinace comes to us having years of experience in early childhood education and management of multi-unit operations. She holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership & Administration, and has worked in multiple roles at The Learning Experience. She is not only a TLE administrator but also a TLE parent. She has taught her 16 year old at TLE and now has the opportunity to watch her 4 year old thrive in our TLE community.

Hi! My name is Sharon Lincoln, and I am honored to serve as your Center Director at The Learning Experience. I hold a dual Master's degree in Special Education from Capella University and have more than 10 years of experience in early childhood education and special education. I began my career as a preschool teacher in an ABA program supporting children with autism, where I worked closely with children with diverse learning and behavioral needs. I later served as a Lead Teacher for Head Start before being promoted to Site Supervisor, continuing my passion for supporting children, families, and educators. Originally from Massachusetts, I spent 10 years living in Maine before making Virginia my home. My husband has served in the military for eight years, and together we have two wonderful boys, Jordan and Elijah. When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, swimming, and staying active. The most rewarding part of my role is building meaningful relationships with families, getting to know each child as an individual, and watching them grow, learn, and gain confidence. I am committed to creating a nurturing, engaging environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.

My name is Ashley! I have three beautiful children. My daughter is 16, my middle son is 13, and youngest son is 10. I began teaching 23 years ago and discovered throughout life teaching is my passion. I am currently working toward completing my CDA to help further my career in childcare. I love making a difference in someone else's life and knowing I had a part in that. I started working for The Learning Experience in November 2022, so before we actual open the doors to our families. I have loved every part of my journey here at TLE. My favorite TLE character is Bongo Bear. He loves music and so do I. Some of my hobbies including gardening, cooking, and going to the beach with my family. My two favorite colors are teal and purple. The flower I love the most is a sunflower because it reminds me to just breathe when things get rough and smile. Virginia is where I was born and raised. The best part about being in the career is building that bond with families.

Hi! My name is Lauren, and I’m excited to be part of The Learning Experience family. I have been an educator for almost 10 years and have had the opportunity to work with children of all ages. I hold my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Development from Brightpoint Community College and am passionate about creating a positive, nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. I am a huge children’s book lover and believe in the power of stories to inspire creativity, imagination, and a love of learning. One day, I hope to write a children’s book of my own!

Hi! My name is Ms. Tonya, and I bring over 20 years of experience in early childhood education. I have a passion for working with infants and creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel loved, supported, and cared for. Building strong relationships with children and their families is one of my favorite parts of being an educator. When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my son and daughter on the weekends.

I’ve always enjoyed helping, watching, and playing with children since I was young myself. My experience includes working as a party host at Chuck E. Cheese and serving as a live-in nanny for over a year. I’m excited to bring my passion for working with children into the classroom and be part of their learning journey.

I have officially been an educator since 2019, but I’ve known that working with children was my passion since I was in second grade. I am a graduate of Radford University, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education. I’m passionate about supporting each child’s unique needs and creating a nurturing learning environment where early learners can grow, explore, and feel inspired. I love helping children build confidence through creative activities, hands-on learning, and meaningful connections. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy anything art-related and building with LEGO® bricks, and I love bringing that creativity into fun learning experiences for our little learners.
