Ms. Kristin is the Center Leader at The Learning Experience – Gurnee and has been working in the Early Childhood Education field since 2016. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and after beginning her career in early childhood education, she quickly discovered her passion for supporting young learners and their families. Kristin started her journey as an Infant Teacher and has continued to grow within the school, gaining valuable experience while supporting teachers, children, and families. She is excited about her role as Center Leader and looks forward to guiding the school as the team continues to grow and accomplish great things together. Outside of the center, Kristin is a proud boy mom and loves watching her son learn, grow, and explore new things every day. She is excited to support the children, families, and teachers at The Learning Experience Gurnee and help create a nurturing and inspiring environment for every little learner.

Ms. Cyndi is an owner of The Learning Experience – Gurnee and brings a unique blend of professional expertise and a deep commitment to early childhood education. She earned her law degree from the University of Michigan and has practiced as a business and estate attorney in Oakland County for more than 20 years. Cyndi entered the early childhood education field in 2006, when she partnered with Mollie and Richard to open the first TLE location in South Lyon. Since then, she has helped support the growth of additional schools, including The Learning Experience Gurnee, while helping ensure every center provides high-quality care and education for children and families. Families often recognize Cyndi from her creative and fun classroom visits, where she enjoys bringing joy and imagination to the school by dressing up as characters like an alien game show host, a mermaid, Sailor Sue, or even Thing One. She has also contributed to hands-on projects around the school, including helping build the children’s garden at the South Lyon location. Cyndi has a lifelong commitment to the importance of childhood education and enjoys mentoring opportunities with local schools. While she continues her work as an attorney, her role at TLE focuses on supporting leadership teams and mentoring teachers so they can provide the safest and most nurturing environment possible for every child. She is proud to support the children, families, and teachers at The Learning Experience Gurnee as they learn, grow, and thrive.

Ms. Jess is the Assistant Center Leader at The Learning Experience – Gurnee and has been working with children since 2013. She joined The Learning Experience when the school first opened in 2018, making TLE an important part of her professional journey. Jess has experience working with children from ages 1 through 12, and she loves the unique energy, personality, and curiosity that each age group brings to the classroom. In March 2025, Jess earned her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and was promoted to Assistant Director, continuing to grow in leadership while supporting the children, families, and teachers at the center. Outside of work, Jess is a proud mom to two daughters, Julia and Joana. She feels grateful to be part of a team and community that feels like home and looks forward to continuing to grow with The Learning Experience Gurnee.

Ms. Sierra serves as the Vice President of Growth and Enrollment for The Learning Experience – Gurnee and plays an important role in supporting school leaders, teachers, and families across the organization. She joined The Learning Experience in Fall of 2018, beginning her journey as a Center Director at a TLE location in Illinois. Since then, Sierra has expanded her leadership role to oversee growth, enrollment, and program quality across multiple schools. With over 18 years of experience in early childhood education, she is passionate about mentoring educators and helping families find the right learning environment for their children. Sierra holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s Degree in Adult Education and Training, allowing her to combine her love for teaching with developing and supporting educators and school leaders. She lives in Wisconsin with her husband Alex, their two children Quinn and Lincoln, and their two dogs, Bella and Freddy. In her free time, Sierra enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and exploring with her family. Sierra is proud to support the children, families, and teachers at The Learning Experience Gurnee as they learn, grow, and thrive.

Ms. Alicia serves as the VP of Happiness at The Learning Experience – Gurnee and has been part of the TLE family since 2011. She began her journey as a Lead Preschool Teacher, where she spent five years helping children build confidence, independence, and a love for learning before being invited to join the management team. Alicia has built her career around educating and caring for young children, and she loves watching the excitement and curiosity in their eyes as they grow, learn, and discover new things every day. She is passionate about supporting teachers and families while helping create a warm and joyful learning environment for every child. Outside of the center, Alicia is a proud mom to a young son and recently welcomed a baby girl. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping, and exploring Michigan’s beautiful “Great Mitten State.” Alicia looks forward to continuing to support the children, families, and teachers at The Learning Experience Gurnee and watching the school community flourish and grow.

Ms. Mollie serves as the Owner and President of Operations for The Learning Experience – Gurnee and has been part of the TLE family since December 2006. She has dedicated her career to helping build exceptional early learning environments for children, families, and the communities they serve. Today, she supports the growth and success of multiple TLE schools, including three locations in Michigan and the Gurnee, Illinois center. Mollie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development from Central Michigan University and spent over 13 years as a Center Director before stepping into her current leadership role. Prior to that, she worked as a preschool teacher in Ann Arbor for five years, building a strong foundation in early childhood education and child development. She is passionate about mentoring teachers and supporting school leaders to ensure every classroom provides a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and grow. Outside of work, Mollie is a proud and busy mom of three boys. Her family travels across the country for gymnastics and baseball, and she enjoys every moment cheering them on and making memories together. Mollie looks forward to continuing to support the children, families, and teachers at The Learning Experience Gurnee and watching every little learner grow and thrive.

Ms. Stephanie supports families at The Learning Experience – Gurnee through marketing, enrollment guidance, and family connections. She joined the TLE family in 2018, and all three of her children have proudly graduated from The Learning Experience, giving her both professional and personal insight into the journey families experience at the school. Stephanie is passionate about helping parents find the best daycare and preschool experience for their children. From the moment families first reach out to schedule a tour, through enrollment, and all the way to preschool graduation, she works closely with parents to answer questions and ensure they feel confident and supported in their childcare decision. Her goal is to create a welcoming and informative experience for every family exploring early childhood education and daycare options in the Gurnee community. Stephanie looks forward to helping families discover everything The Learning Experience Gurnee has to offer while supporting children as they begin their learning journey.

Ms. Essence is an Infant Teacher at The Learning Experience – Gurnee and is excited to begin her journey in the early childhood education field, a path she has always wanted to pursue. She enjoys supporting young children as they grow, learn, and begin discovering the world around them. Essence is a proud mom to her daughter, born in 2020, and loves helping children build confidence and grow into the best versions of themselves. In addition to her work at TLE, she also works part-time at Launch Trampoline Park. Ms. Essence looks forward to building strong relationships with the children and families at The Learning Experience Gurnee while helping create a nurturing and supportive classroom environment.

Ms. Cynthia is an Infant Teacher at The Learning Experience – Gurnee and has been working with children since she was a teenager. Although she explored other career paths outside of education, her passion for working with young children always brought her back to the classroom. Cynthia loves supporting infants as they grow, reach new milestones, and discover the world around them. She especially enjoys watching each child develop, learn, and gain new skills during these important early stages. She is currently working toward earning her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential through The Learning Experience, continuing to expand her knowledge so she can provide the best care and learning environment possible for the infants in her classroom. Ms. Jessi is an Infant Teacher at The Learning Experience – Gurnee and has been working in the childcare field since 2017. She enjoys caring for infants and supporting them as they reach important early developmental milestones. Jessi loves watching each child learn, grow, and adapt in their own unique ways, and she is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing classroom environment where little learners feel supported and encouraged. Ms. Savannah is an Infant Teacher at The Learning Experience – Gurnee and has been working in the childcare field since 2020. She earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and is passionate about supporting young learners during their earliest stages of growth and development. Savannah enjoys helping her students navigate everyday challenges, build confidence, and reach new milestones in a nurturing classroom environment. She also shares a special connection to TLE as a mom of three children who attend the center, making it a place that is meaningful for her whole family. Mr. Thomas has been part of The Learning Experience family for over 15 years and serves as the Facilities Manager at The Learning Experience – Gurnee. He plays an important role in helping maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-cared-for environment where children can learn, explore, and grow each day. Thomas is a proud father of five children, and together with his wife, he has also spent the last nine years fostering many wonderful children, providing them with a loving and supportive home. In his free time, Thomas enjoys gardening and recently discovered a passion for baking pumpkin pies using pumpkins grown in his own garden. While his pies are already a favorite, he jokes that his pie crust skills are still a work in progress! Thomas takes great pride in supporting the teachers, children, and families at The Learning Experience Gurnee and helping create a warm and comfortable school environment for the entire community.

Ms. Ann is an Infant Support Teacher at The Learning Experience – Gurnee and brings over 25 years of experience working with children. She enjoys supporting infants as they grow, explore, and reach important developmental milestones. Ann loves spending time playing with the children and watching how each child learns and develops in their own unique way. She believes every child is special and strives to create a supportive and nurturing classroom environment where individuality is valued and encouraged. Ms. Ann looks forward to continuing to support the children and families at The Learning Experience Gurnee as they learn, grow, and thrive.

Ms. Angela is part of the Support Staff team at The Learning Experience – Gurnee and has been with the center since June 2019. She enjoys working with children of all ages and loves being able to connect with the many families and little learners throughout the school. Angela especially enjoys building relationships with the children and getting to know each of their unique personalities as they grow and learn. Outside of the center, Angela loves spending time with her niece, making special memories together. Ms. Angelita is a Toddler Teacher at The Learning Experience – Gurnee and has been working in early childhood education since 2019. She previously worked with preschool-aged children, but after transitioning to the toddler classroom, she discovered a true love for this age group. Angelita earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in April 2025, continuing to grow her knowledge and skills in early childhood education. One of her classroom goals is to help children learn and practice basic sign language, giving them another way to communicate as they develop their language skills. Ms. Angelita looks forward to supporting the children and families at The Learning Experience Gurnee while creating a fun, engaging, and supportive classroom environment where every child can grow and succeed.

Ms. Miah is a Toddler Teacher at The Learning Experience – Gurnee and enjoys working with children of all ages. She is currently a college student majoring in Child Psychology and plans to graduate in 2027. Miah is passionate about supporting young learners as they grow, explore, and develop new skills. She enjoys bringing creativity, positivity, and joy into the classroom while helping children build confidence and curiosity. Outside of the classroom, Miah enjoys spending time with family and friends and loves being adventurous and creative. Ms. Karoline is a Toddler Teacher at The Learning Experience – Gurnee and is passionate about supporting young learners as they grow, explore, and discover the world around them. Originally from Puerto Rico, Karoline moved with her husband to pursue new opportunities and continue working toward their goals. She enjoys learning new things and gaining experiences that help her grow both personally and professionally. Karoline loves working with children and believes they bring so much joy and positivity to the world. She is dedicated to creating a supportive and nurturing classroom environment where toddlers feel encouraged to learn, play, and develop new skills each day. She looks forward to supporting the children and families at The Learning Experience Gurnee as they grow and thrive together.

Ms. Eniko is a Twaddler Teacher at The Learning Experience – Gurnee and brings a strong background in early childhood education. She was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary, where she studied and earned her degree in Early Childhood Education before moving to the United States in her early twenties. Eniko has always had a passion for working with children and supporting young learners as they grow, explore, and develop new skills. She enjoys helping children build confidence and independence while creating a nurturing and supportive classroom environment. Outside of the classroom, Eniko enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children, a son and a daughter. She looks forward to continuing to support the children and families at The Learning Experience Gurnee while helping every little learner grow and thrive.

Ms. Heavenlee is a Prepper Teacher at The Learning Experience – Gurnee and is excited to support young learners as they grow, explore, and prepare for their next classroom milestones. She is currently attending college while pursuing a medical career, and enjoys gaining experience working with children while continuing her education. Outside of the classroom, Heavenlee enjoys playing volleyball, gardening, and spending time with her two dogs, Ivory and Kessler. Ms. Heavenlee looks forward to helping create a fun, supportive, and engaging classroom environment for the children and families at The Learning Experience Gurnee.

Ms. Michelle is a Prepper Teacher at The Learning Experience – Gurnee and has been part of the TLE team since July 2024. She has loved getting to know the children and their wonderful families and quickly became an important part of the school community. Michelle was excited to take on the role of leading the Prepper classroom, where she enjoys guiding children as they build independence, confidence, and the skills they need for their next learning steps. She has embraced the responsibility of leading the classroom and supporting her students as they grow and learn each day. In addition to teaching, Michelle also helps prepare everything needed for a child’s first day at the center, working behind the scenes to make sure new and returning families feel welcomed and ready for their TLE experience. Ms. Courtney is a Preschool 1 Teacher at The Learning Experience – Gurnee and has been part of the TLE Gurnee team since 2021. She also previously worked at another TLE location, giving her valuable experience supporting young learners in early childhood education. Courtney is a proud mom of two boys and enjoys spending time outdoors whenever she can. One of her favorite places she has lived is Louisiana, which holds many special memories for her. In the Preschool 1 classroom, Courtney loves seeing the children smile and enjoys the opportunity to work with them every day as they learn, explore, and grow. Ms. Loren is a Preschool 2 Teacher at The Learning Experience – Gurnee and enjoys working with children and the joy and energy they bring to the classroom each day. She is passionate about early childhood education and especially enjoys supporting early literacy development, helping children build the foundational skills that support a lifelong love of reading and learning. Stephanie truly loves her career and enjoys helping young learners grow academically, socially, and emotionally in a nurturing classroom environment. Outside of the classroom, Stephanie has been happily married for over 20 years and is the proud mom of two children and a son-in-law. Her daughter and son-in-law both earned their master’s degrees and live in Kansas City, and her son is currently studying industrial design. Ms. Breanna is a Preschool 3 Teacher at The Learning Experience – Gurnee and enjoys supporting young learners as they grow, explore, and develop confidence in the classroom. She is currently working toward her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, continuing to expand her knowledge in the field. Breanna is also the Event Coordinator for the center, where she enjoys planning fun and engaging events that bring families together and create special memories for the TLE community. Outside of the classroom, Breanna is a proud mom to a beautiful little girl, and they love spending time together doing arts and crafts. Ms. Maricruz is a School-Age Teacher at The Learning Experience – Gurnee and has experience working with children ages 2 through 16, most recently focusing on children ages 2–7. She loves supporting young learners as they grow, develop new skills, and discover their unique personalities. Maricruz believes that working with children is one of the most rewarding careers, and she feels grateful to spend her days learning, laughing, and creating positive experiences with the students in her care. Ms. Mia is part of the Seasonal Support Staff team at The Learning Experience – Gurnee and enjoys spending time with the children and building meaningful relationships with the families at the center. She is currently studying at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, where she is pursuing a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Adaptive Education. Mia loves gaining experience working with young learners while continuing her education. Originally from Gurnee, Mia enjoys coming back to support the team at TLE whenever she is home from school. Ms. Lisa is the Chef at The Learning Experience – Gurnee and brings nearly 30 years of experience in both early childhood education and culinary arts. After high school, she attended college and earned her certifications in Early Childhood Education, and later spent two years studying Culinary Arts in Indiana. Lisa loves that her role allows her to combine two of her greatest passions—working with children and cooking for them. She takes pride in preparing meals that support children’s growth while helping create a warm and welcoming environment at the center. Outside of the classroom, Lisa is the proud mom of two wonderful boys and a loving grandmother to two grandchildren, who she says are the light of her life. She looks forward to continuing to support the children and families at The Learning Experience Gurnee while providing meals made with care for every little learner.

Ms. Lucy is the Curriculum Specialist and Support Teacher at The Learning Experience – Gurnee and brings valuable experience in early childhood education. She was born and raised in Mexico and is the proud mother of four children. Before joining TLE, Lucy gained six years of experience working with children, and she holds her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. She is passionate about helping children build the skills they need to succeed while supporting teachers in creating engaging and effective classroom environments. Lucy’s goal is to help children develop important learning skills in a safe, clean, and nurturing environment where they feel supported and encouraged every day. She brings a strong background in education with a Master’s Degree in Education and over 15 years of experience working with children of all ages. Ms. Brianna is a Support Staff member at The Learning Experience in Gurnee. She is currently studying Early Childhood Education and is passionate about supporting young learners as they explore, play, and grow each day. Ms. Brianna enjoys helping create a positive and engaging classroom environment where children feel encouraged to build confidence and curiosity through everyday learning experiences. Ms. Amberlie is a childcare professional at The Learning Experience in Gurnee with experience caring for children of various ages, including those with special needs and autism. Ms. Amberlie enjoys fostering creativity through storytelling, outdoor play, and hands-on activities, celebrating each child’s achievements with enthusiasm and encouragement.
