My journey in childcare began in high school and has grown into a fulfilling career dedicated to creating enriching, supportive environments where children can thrive. Originally from Southern California, my family and I relocated to Mustang. I am a proud mother of three grown daughters and have been married for 25 years. I understand the importance of family and the trust parents place in those who care for their children. In my new role, I look forward to building meaningful relationships with families, supporting staff, and making a lasting, positive impact on every child’s learning experience. Hi, I’m Charisa! Though many of the children know me as Mrs. Risa! With years of experience in childcare, I’ve gained valuable insight from the amazing children I’ve had the privilege of teaching. As a mom of two, I also bring a personal perspective that deepens my passion for supporting families and creating a nurturing environment. Being part of a child’s early development is incredibly meaningful to me—it’s such a special and important time in their lives. Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, studying, and listening to Taylor Swift. I truly love what I do and cherish every moment I get to spend with the children in my care. Hi, I’m Michelle, also known as “Mimi”! I bring over 18 years of experience in early childhood education and am a Master Teacher with a CDA in Preschool. I’m passionate about helping children grow and develop their social, academic, and creative skills in a fun, supportive environment. I love engaging with children through play while also encouraging and supporting both them and their families every step of the way. I am Safe Sleep and CPR certified and hold my ELCCT, Birth–5 Pyramid training, and Certificate of Mastery. I have been with TLE since 2023.
