My son James joined TLE in November of last year, and we can say without a shadow of a doubt, that it was one of the best decisions we've ever made. We felt so fortunate to be able to send our son to a school that was open 5 days a week, whereas many other schools were only open part-time, with a hybrid-learning capacity due to COVID restrictions. It was a godsend. TLE always maintained a safe and happy environment and the staff always went above and beyond to meet our needs as parents and the needs of our children.

We had our 2nd child recently graduate from UPK at The Learning Experience in 2020. This is a great Child Care - well run, teachers are caring and are heavily invested in the well being and development of all the kids. Our eldest child graduated Pre-K, 5 years ago. Both of our kids were with TLE since 12 months of age. The education curriculum is exceptional and both kids flourished through the programs. It is a very well run organization and Jessica and her team are fantastic. We are extremely thankful for choosing TLE for our kids!

My daughter has been at TLE for the last year and we absolutely love it there. We love the director, Jessica, and have been thrilled with the teachers. When we were touring daycares before or just after she was born I didn't pay any attention to the curriculum because she was an infant(!!) but it's been a surprise and a joy to see how much she learns at daycare. For example, 'Eeeshy' (fishy) was a very early word for her – funnily enough the curriculum theme that month was 'Under the Sea'. We also didn't set out thinking our child would learn infant sign language, but it definitely came in handy before she could speak. And she LOVES music class. The staff are warm and loving and the halls are filled with proud displays of the children's art projects. I also like that the center has its own small private outdoor play area – a luxury in Manhattan. In short, we love TLE.

TLE Downtown has been amazing since our son started in September. The staff is always very welcoming, energetic and attentive to the needs of all children. We love our time so far at TLE!

I highly recommend TLE to any parent. Our daughter has been at TLE since 6 months old. We experienced a few other daycare centers because both my wife and I had daycare benefits through our employers. From the first day TLE has felt like home for our daughter. TLE feels like we are leaving our daughter with family rather than a daycare. We became very close to the teachers in her first classroom Miss Dominique and Miss Jeanie. There is no question that our daughter is loved by her teachers at TLE. TLE's curriculum has enriched our daughter in many ways. She loves music class (often sings songs from school at home) and has become a sponge for new words! We are constantly amazed by what she has learned at school. The administration and director of the school have been great, we're kept informed of her day and are able to keep in touch through phone, email, or text. We often receive candid photos of her day; which brightens our day.

I recently enrolled both my children (2 and 4 yrs) in TLE and couldn't be more pleased. They both adore their teachers and are very happy there. Since day one, I have felt that they are well educated, loved, and perfectly cared for. People say the difference between ordinary and extraordinary is just a little extra and these teachers and staff are just that! The admin, particularly Jessica and Jenna, have far exceeded my expectations; working with our family when extra child care needs arise and meeting our needs in a way I only dreamed a child care facility would. They are a breath of fresh air there at TLE. Thank you!!

Pavol started at TLE when he was 2.5 years old. He is now 4. We have found the Manhattan office to be very responsive. The staff are attentive and caring and our son loves it. We selected TLE because we felt it struck the right balance between structured learning & learning through play. Our son could not be happier. He looks forward to going to TLE every day.

We joined the TLE family when our first child was just four and a half months old. We saw our baby girl flourish into a lively, happy, and sharp little girl over the next two years. We are sure that the affection and love she was shown by her caregivers at TLE, and the structure, manners, and social and educational skills she was taught by her teachers made her into the confident girl she is becoming. The decision was easy when our second child was born--our son joined TLE as soon as it was possible. And within his first year, just like his sister did before him, our son learned sign language and made it clear to us that he was happy and thriving at TLE. There couldn't be a better environment with a more qualified bunch of loving and thoughtful caretakers helping my babies grow into the delightful kids they're becoming.

We love TLE! My 4 year old son wants to go to school in the morning… seriously…what beats that.. The staff is great and the other families are awesome. Being a single Dad…. being a part of this community.. makes it just a little easier… Mike

We just moved to downtown from NYC and i was a little nervous about the transition. My 3 year son is so happy here! His teachers are excellent and take so much care in handwriting weekly reports home so i know what he's learning each week. The curriculum is also impressive - in less than a month my sign is writing his name and drawing happy faces. I can't wait to see what he learns next!

We have been at TLE since the middle of June. We had recently moved back to the city and as I was starting a new job, we needed childcare for our daughter. Walking in, we were welcomed by the amazing staff at TLE. Since, nothing has changed, we are greeted every morning with smiles and hugs. Our daughter is not only receiving a great curriculum each day, but she is receiving love and the attention she needs as well. We are so very happy with everything TLE is providing for our daughter.

We have been at TLE since early Summer and couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff has been wonderful, so caring and nurturing and has help immensely with the transition process for my son, as he entered a new environment. It is evident how much upper management/director's care about the children here at TLE and they have helped make it a second home for us. My son also has food allergies- and they have been so extremely dilligent with helping make sure he stays safe on a day to day basis. I would highly recommend this school!

My daughter has been enrolled at TLE for 2 years now. With no family local to help out with childcare, their flexible program hours and days it makes life much easier to manage. The management is great! Jessica, Melissa and Kathleen have a great curriculum in place and have a great supporting staff that honestly cares about the children's wellbeing. While my wife, Cassie, and I were expecting, we were wracking our brains over what to do about child care when her maternity leave was up and she had to return to work. We scouted out a few places, but either their locations were too far away or there was something that rubbed us the wrong way when we visited each place. Imagine our surprise when leaving our apartment building one day, we look over, and realize there was The Learning Experience RIGHT NEXT DOOR. It must have been funny to anyone looking on, as we both did a comedic double-take, like "What? Really? Right next door?!?". Turns out, after Hurricane Sandy, there was a bunch of construction and renovation happening, and the scaffolding around our building blocked it from view... though how we missed it in our searches online, I'll never know. When we walked in the doors to visit, both of us knew pretty much right away we had found the place we wanted our girl to be; we were given a soup-to-nuts tour, and were very impressed with the facilities and staff, and every question and concern we had as first time expecting parents was answered. From the time we walked in, we were made to feel comfortable and welcome, and that our as-of-yet unborn daughter would be in good hands when we decided the time was right. Our daughter, Shira, has been at TLE since 3 months-old, and any worries we had quickly evaporated. For the first week, there were some tears...from my wife- Shira wasn't bothered at all. In fact, after a couple weeks, she'd almost immediately turn towards her new friends after drop off as if to say, "Mom! Dad! You're embarrassing me!", which was a little sneak peak to her teen years, I guess. We've been extremely happy with our decision, and with the genuine happiness and care the people at TLE have for our little girl. We both feel that the people at TLE really make a huge difference, and that the positive attitude and energy there is great for Shira's socialization and development. You guys really go the extra mile, and we thank you!

During a transition in our lives I was trying to find a day care for my daughter to feel secure and loved. My daughter was enrolled at another center and the decision to enroll her in the Manhattan location was an easy one. The school provides a nurturing environment for my daughter to thrive. The teachers and administrators are always available to answer questions and provide advice. At drop off and pick up, I can feel confident my daughter is in good hands. When I was about 7 months pregnant I ran into an old friend of mine who had just dropped off his 11 month old daughter at The Learning Experience. He had only nice things to say about this place. This is why we came for a tour once it was time for me to rejoin the workforce after maternity leave. Our experience has been wonderful thus far. I could honestly not be happier with the teachers and staff in general who have made us feel so comfortable since day one. Our son began his "learning experience" at 5 months old. He didnt know how to roll over nor sit on his own. By the second week he was not only able to roll all other the place but he could also sit for extended periods of time while interacting with toys and other babies and He could also hold his own bottle! Every morning, when we arrive at his classroom my baby seems so happy to be there and of course that makes me feel confident to go to work knowing that he is in great hands learning and thriving!

The only easy part about returning to work has been knowing that Maisie is at The Learning Experience, where she is cared for as if she is one of their own. The teachers, lead by the incomparable Melissa, Jessica and Kathleen, seem so happy each and every day to get to spend time with my girl and surround her with love, attention and plenty of hugs. I am incredibly grateful for the piece of mind they give me.

My son was with a nanny for two years. We decided to enroll him in TLE for many reasons, but were anxious over how the transition would go. I was worried that he would never adjust to the class settings and that there wouldn't be enough attention paid to him. While drop-off is still sometimes a challenge, I couldn't be happier with the amount of love and attention he receives from the teachers and staff. Every staff member knows his name, and when he is upset, I can find him on the laps of administrators, seeking and receiving comfort. It's often that you'll walk around and see teacher carrying babies and toddlers, and they all know and treat the kids in accordance with the child's personality. I'm so happy with the decision to enroll him, and I haven't even gotten to the learning! At 2, my son knows and says the ABC's, numbers, and colors, too. This is a direct result from his education at TLE. It's not all rote, Q also brings home art created with different mediums of all colors and textures. This was a good decision and I'm happy we did it.

When The Learning Experience opened up next door to our apartment building, I thought it was a pre-school. While I was pregnant with our daughter, I was delighted to learn that TLE is also a daycare and took in babies as young as six weeks old. After we toured the place, we knew this was where our child would be spending her days while my husband and I worked. TLE is truly her second home. I was able to stretch my time at home to 3.5 months and Shira was the youngest in her Infant A class on her first day. It seems like in a blink of an eye she was moving up to Infant B as younger babies (as young as 9 weeks old) started joining the Infant A class. We truly believe having Shira attend TLE is one of the best decisions we've ever made. She is thriving and growing into such an intelligent and social little lady. She started to have separation anxiety on the weekends (if I left the room, she would cry) but as soon as I drop her off at her TLE class on Monday, she barely even looks my way (as if I'm cramping her style). Whenever we come in for the day, we feel like celebrities. Every teacher, even the ones who aren't in her class, greet us with a smile and by name. TLE isn't just great for our girl but for us as parents as well. The teachers are such great sources of knowledge and give us great advice. The manager at our TLE even clipped Shira's nails when she came in with scratches on her arms. I admit the location of TLE (it doesn't get any more convenient than next door to our apt building) was one of the biggest draws for us however we never could've dreamed up the amazing care our daughter receives everyday, the warmth of the staff, and the extra set of experts we can reach out to for parental guidance. We are excited to watch Shira grow and learn throughout the next few years at TLE.
