Dr. Grace Huxtable-Mount is the owner of multiple branches of The Learning Experience. She has been a member of the TLE family since 2008, and her two amazing children are both TLE graduates. Her career in education spans over 20 years, including service as a preschool teacher, public school teacher, and several school leadership positions. Dr. Grace believes in the TLE mission of making a positive difference in the lives of children, their families, and the communities we serve. She loves the fact that we get to introduce academics to young children in a way that instills the idea that learning is fun, which is foundational to having a lifetime love of learning. She is passionate about building and uplifting the teachers and leaders of each center to be the very best educators that they can be. She enjoys the beach, cycling, traveling and spending time with her family.

Kaitlin brings with her a strong educational background and a wealth of experience in working with children. She graduated in 2019 with a bachelors degree in business administration, which has equipped her with a Solid foundation in organizational management. However, it is her recent achievement of earning a Montessori diploma in 2023 that truly sets her apart in understanding the unique needs of our young learners. Throughout the course of Kaitlin’s career, she has devoted more than 11 years to working with children of all ages. This extensive experience has fostered her passion for facilitating the growth of children through academic, social, and emotional advancement. She firmly believes in creating an environment where each child can thrive and reach their full potential.

Kayleigh has spent years caring for her younger siblings, which sparked her passion for working with children. Now stepping into the childcare field, she brings patience, heart, and hands-on experience. Outside of work, Kayleigh loves hitting the trails for a good hike—and she’s always down for tacos and anything from Chili’s!

Ebony Malave is a proud wife and mother of two beautiful girls. She has been working in childcare for over 12 years, and caring for children has truly been her passion and purpose. Throughout her career, she has gained experience with all age groups, from infants to school-aged children, and loves supporting each child’s growth and development in a nurturing and positive environment. Ebony believes in creating a safe, fun, and educational space where children can feel comfortable exploring, learning, and building confidence. Families can count on her to provide not only quality care but also open communication and a genuine partnership in their child’s early learning journey. What brings her the most joy is watching children reach new milestones, discover their unique personalities, and knowing that she had a part in helping them thrive.

Susann has been working with children for the last 37 years. Ms. Susann has had a home daycare for many years. Most recently Ms. Susann has 3 years of working in a Montessori classroom. Ms. Susan loves watching children learn new things and loves being able to teach them new skills for the first time. In Ms. Susann’s free time, she enjoys swimming!

Ms. Andrea has over six years of experience working with children, with a particular focus on infants. She finds great joy in observing their growth and watching them achieve key developmental milestones, such as rolling over, crawling, and forming early social connections. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Ms. Andrea is able to effectively communicate with a diverse group of children and families, and she is also able to write fluently in both languages. Outside of work, Ms. Andrea enjoys spending time in nature, whether it’s hiking, visiting parks, or simply enjoying the outdoors.

Ms. Shanda has been in childcare for 15 years. Seeing children grow means everything to her. Ms. Shanda received her degree in Early Childhood Education. She enjoys making people smile and feel good. Ms. Shanda enjoys doing community events and cannot wait to see where her TLE journey leads her. In her free time, Ms. Shanda enjoys cooking, traveling, and shopping.

Ms. Raven has been working with children for over five years and is passionate about building meaningful connections with each child she meets. She loves watching children learn, grow, and discover the world around them. In her free time, Raven enjoys drawing and relaxing with a good movie. Her creativity, warmth, and dedication make her a wonderful part of our team!

Ms. Kiala transferred from another TLE location. She has a true passion for creativity and is dedicated to helping children experience the magic of learning and discovery every day. Ms. Kiala is committed to creating a nurturing environment where children feel supported as they grow and explore. In her free time, she enjoys relaxing and playing video games, which adds to her fun and imaginative spirit in the classroom

Ms. Helen has been working with children for about seven years and recently transferred to our center from another TLE location. While she enjoys working with children of all ages, her heart is especially with the infants. Ms. Helen loves bringing creativity into the classroom, and in her free time, she enjoys relaxing and watching movies.

Ms. Jamya has been working with young children for five and a half years and has a special love for helping infants discover new things and reach their developmental milestones. In her free time, Ms. Jamya enjoys relaxing and watching movies.

Ms. Priscilla has been working in early childhood education for the past five years and brings a strong background in Montessori practices. She loves creating opportunities for children to explore, discover, and learn new things every day. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Priscilla enjoys playing bingo and spending quality time with her dog, Bently.

Ms. Damaris has always had a passion for working with children. Observing their growth while providing care and security brings her immense joy. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from George Mason University, where she deepened her understanding of early childhood education. Ms. Damaris takes delight in making children smile and in creating a safe, nurturing environment that allows them to reach their fullest potential. In her free time, she enjoys getting lost in a good book, cherishing moments with family and friends, and planning her next adventure. She is excited to make a positive impact on the learning experiences of children and to help foster a love for learning in each one of them.

Jakiya is the middle child in her family and enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones. She has been working with children for several years, specializing in caring for children ages 3 to 5. Jakiya loves reading, watching new movies, and trying new things. She finds great joy in working with children, especially in helping them learn, explore, and grow while creating a fun and supportive environment.

Darlin has several years of experience working with children, with most of her background focused on working with 5-year-olds. In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym and spending quality time with her family. One of her favorite parts of working with children is witnessing those “aha” moments when a child truly understands something being taught.
