I have worked in childcare for 7 years, before getting my medical assistant degree. I love working with children of all ages and helping with development of their wonderfully unique minds. It makes me proud to know I am helping the children who will be wonderful individuals in the future.

Hello, my name is Manesha Sukhu, and I am currently an undergraduate student. I have a cat, and he is so spoiled from being the only pet in the household. I've always had amazing role models in my life who have instilled great values in me and pushed me to be my best self. So, growing up I always knew that I wanted to work with children and return the same feeling, and upliftment to the future generation. Children are the future of our world, so to have the privilege of helping to mold them most slightly is an immense opportunity. I have worked with students in the past as a tutor to help them progress in school at a level that benefits them while ensuring that they still find their activities fun and engaging. By doing so, almost all of my students were able to improve and progress at an appropriate level.

Hello my name is Victoria. I am currently in the process of getting my Bachelors in psychology. However, I plan to get my Masters in Early Childhood. I was inspired by my kindergarten teacher to work with kids, everyday she made school like home to me. I hope to one day be as sweet and as influential as she was to me.

My work in Early Childhood Education started as an ABA technician. I loved working with the children and the families- but wanted a more classroom feel. I started at TLE Astoria as a floater, which I enjoyed getting to know all the ages and all the classrooms. But, when the opportunity to become a fulltime assistant in a toddler classroom came up, I was so excited. I love getting to do activities with the class and watch all their milestones.

My name is Tiffany. I have a passion for working with kids. I've been nannying and babysitting for over 8+ years. I have 2 kids of my own. I am excited to work at TLE, to learn from other teachers and staff, and to become an even better role model your kids can look up to.

I have been working with kids since 2015. I always had the desire to inspire them to learn and contribute to their development. I've had the opportunity to work with kids of all ages. I enjoy designing engaging lessons and activities to help students reach their potential and to positively influence their lives.

I am excited to be a teacher at TLE! I obtained my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and have 25 years of experience from ages 2 to 5. I love working with children and watching them grow socially, emotionally, and academically. It warms my heart to see children become capable and confident children!

I’ve worked with children for more than 2 years. I’m also an older sister and have helped raise her since she was a baby. I enjoy seeing kids grow and develop.

I have been a part of TLE for over a year. I worked at a TLE on Long Island before moving to Astoria and coming to TLE Astoria. While my degree is in creative writing, I love working with children and it truly is my passion.

Hello, my name is Djalila Djamaa, I have a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. I worked as an Arabic teacher for 3 years in Algeria. I love working with children because they bring positive energy and happiness.

I've been working in childcare for seven years but I have been around children my whole life. I love working with children and watching them grow. My favorite subject in school was philosophy and current events.

I am from Ecuador and have always enjoyed working with children and families. In Ecuador I was an OBGYN and also worked in a daycare as an assistant teacher. I was excited to start a job here at TLE Astoria and continue to work with children and make connections with family.

I have a bit of different experience working with children. I worked at a kids salon and spa in Manhattan for 2 years. It was so much fun to be able to make young children feel special, pampered and beautiful/handsome. I loved being able to make their day. I decided to switch to working in a daycare because I wanted to be able to do more and get to be an actual part of a child's future and growth.

I have been working in Early Childhood Education since 2018. I've worked with children as young as 6 months old, and as old as 4 years old. However, the 1-2 year old age range is my sweet spot. I love to watch them explore and learn through their curiosity.
