Curriculum that develops the whole child

July 2023

Welcome to our July curriculum theme, Sonar's Sea Adventure!

It's the best way for your little learner to beat the summer heat! This month, your little learner will take a trip to the ocean to investigate sea life! As our curriculum builds through our different classrooms, little learners will discover the colors, textures, and sights of the ocean, practice counting and measurement through ocean-themed sensory activities, and learn about the scientific process through sink and float experiments!

Family Connections

You can incorporate curriculum concepts from Sonar's Sea Adventure into fun activities with your child!

You can create an ocean-themed sensory bottle by placing water, Elmer's glue, blue food coloring, and blue glitter inside a bottle with a child-resistant cap.

Sensory bottles are great tools for little learners to explore colors, as well as strengthen hand-eye coordination and self-regulation skills!
