My daughter thrived at TLE — growing, learning, and forming bonds that I know will stay with her for years to come. We’ve appreciated every drop-off, every adorable art project, and every milestone she’s reached along the way. The educational curriculum is thoughtful and engaging, and the amount of outside time the kids get is such a bonus. She’s come home excited about everything she’s learned and created. We also loved how consistently the staff kept us updated through photos and messages in the school app — it made us feel involved in her day even when we couldn’t be there. We’re so grateful for the role the entire team has played in these early, important years. I would absolutely recommend this daycare to any family looking for a nurturing, reliable, and genuinely caring environment.

I’ve had 3 kids go to school at The Learning Experience. Two have graduated and one is in preschool at TLE. We’ve been in pretty much every class at this point and have always had a great experience. There is very little turnover and the teachers truly love the kids. I’m continually amazed at how much they really care. The curriculum is also incredible and my two older kids were so prepared to start kindergarten.

I transferred here from another TLE when I moved to Yorktown and it’s the best decision. My daughter will leap out of my arms to be with her teachers. Kristin, Diana, Amanda and Angelina are literally the best. In addition, my daughter has severe food allergies and the administration as well as her teachers have worked diligently with the restaurant to see what she can and cannot eat and ensure she hasn’t needed her EpiPen. I can’t recommend this location enough.

We absolutely love TLE at Yorktown and I honestly cannot say enough positive things about them!! It's the people that make a place, and the entire staff here are caring and kind. My daughter started at TLE in September of 2024 at 5 months old. I was nervous to leave her because she was so young, even though I had a good feeling about this daycare. However, the staff made me feel like part of the family right away and I could see that they took such great care of her. I love going to pick up Maddie because everyone is so warm and friendly. Everyone says hello and everyone knows Maddie's name. It is so endearing!! I could not have asked for a better place to take care of and teach Madeleine. To this day, my favorite part of my day is getting the photo updates from TLE! If you are thinking of enrolling your child, take the leap and do it! I would not leave a review if I wasn't 200% happy with my experience ??

I can’t express how wonderful TLE Yorktown is! From the moment we walked in with my son at just 3 months old, we have been greeted by the warmest and most friendly staff. Everyone is so welcoming, kind, and genuinely cares about the children. The staff is not just professional, but also passionate about their work, which is evident in the various activities they plan! They take the time to get to know each child individually and create a nurturing yet challenging age-appropriate environment. His happiness at pick-up confirms what we see in their app (which is a highlight of our day!) – he loves being at TLE. Highly recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a place where their child will thrive and you can feel at ease!

TLE has such a special place in my heart. My oldest daughter attended years ago and I loved the colorful and safe environment. I knew my youngest daughter had to attend also. The staff is all so sweet and caring. They’re so patient with all the children. Your child will enjoy nothing but love and laughter.

I just started my infant son at the learning experience this past February 2025. I have been very pleased with the staff and teachers. Everyone is warm and caring, and I am confident that my son is in good care leaving me to focus on the demands of my career. They make drop off and pick up super smooth! My experience at TLE Yorktown has been nothing short of amazing! My son, Mason, is in the infant classroom, and the care and attention he receives daily gives me such peace of mind. My family and I have been attending TLE Mohegan/Yorktown for many years. My son recently graduated very well equipped for kindergarten. The preschool program is student centered and structured well for the age group. The teachers are dedicated and always open to trying what works for the child. Also, my daughter has attended from infant through toddler program. Positive takeaways (to name a few!): - personalized projects as keepsakes - communication app for photos and updates - HOT LUNCH!! It looks very tasty too! - kind, reliable staff I recommend TLE Mohegan to anyone who’s looking for childcare and/or a program for their child.

We love The Learning Experience in Yorktown Heights! The staff are attentive, caring. The facility is clean, and well-organized, with plenty of engaging activities that keep the kids learning and having fun. My children attended the learning experience for 2 years. My older one for PreK + aftercare and my younger one for twaddlers through preschool. The facility is well maintained, colorful, and has the walls lined with art/work/pictures from the various classrooms. Compared to another daycare we attended I feel this one spends their money more wisely. There are plenty of toys for the children, the workbooks are TLE themed and nice quality, the playground and area are very nice. My kids also really like the food and snacks that are provided. Another stark difference between other daycares is the low turnover rate of teachers. My kids have always had the same teachers for the entire school year and that is unheard of at a lot of other daycares. Many teachers have been there since the place opened. The teachers are also great, very loving towards my kids and have also helped them grow a ton over the years. The administration is very nice, Amy is very organized and will always make sure anything you need is communicated or taken care of. The curriculum seems great too, my older son was more than ready for Kindergarten after PreK at TLE.

I have two sons that attended TLE since they were 4 months old. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff and the environment itself. I have never had an issue in the past 4 years. Both my sons have had such positive experiences. They have both learned so much. I have one son there now in the toddler room and he absolutely loves coming to TLE and never wants to leave. Overall our experience with TLE and their staff has been amazing!!

Our children are currently enrolled at The Learning Experience and we couldn't be more pleased with the center. My daughter comes home with many crafts and projects that they have completed throughout the day. My son is in the infant room and even they do tons of crafts and projects. The staff is amazing and the teachers are so friendly and welcoming. We couldn't be happier with the center thus far.

My son attended TLE Yorktown from age 1-4 before moving on to UPK in our school district. He received top marks on an early assessment given by the school, and all of his teachers remarked on how much he already knew coming into the program. They asked where he went to pre school and when I told them that he attended TLE, they said “that explains it! They have the best curriculum!” My little guy was so well prepared for UPK thanks to all the wonderful teachers at TLE! He learned so much there that will serve him well in these early years of elementary school!

We have had our two kids at TLE for the last two years, and we have been very happy with everything. Our kids are excited to go everyday, and we have seen their progress moving from toddlers to their next phase. Our daughter just graduated from preschool there and she feels very prepared to head to kindergarten this fall, which is all we wanted. Highly recommended!

My 5 year old granddaughter has attended The Learning Experience for almost two years. She has also attended summer camp there as well. As a grandmother and her caregiver, I have had the opportunity on a daily basis to experience and learn first hand about the school. The Director, Staff and Teachers are all very caring and professional. The environment they create is warm and friendly and are very patient and understanding in meeting the needs of of the children as well as the parents with any and all concerns or questions they have. The facility is immaculate. Using an app, parents have full access at any time to see all that their children do throughout the day, including their activities etc. TLE even hosts a Parents Night Out. The teachers work to make the transition from preschool to kindergarten a very happy and positive experience for them getting them ready in every way. I have see my granddaughter grow and learn so much during these past two years and I can say she is definitely ready for kindergarten. I highly recommend it!

My son absolutely adores all of the teachers in the Infant rooms - especially Ms. Kristen and Ms. Diana. He has a huge smile at drop-off, looking forward to the fun day with his little friends. His favorite activity this summer has been water play!
