Hi, I’m Tara Bernard, Executive Director at The Learning Experience (TLE) at West University. I’m originally from Detroit, Michigan, and I bring over 30 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. I also hold my Director Credentials from the State of Texas, which reflect my commitment to high standards in early childhood leadership and care. I’m a proud mother of three adult children and grandmother to two wonderful grandchildren. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping, reading, and traveling. At TLE West U, my goal is to ensure every child feels safe, happy, and celebrated as a unique individual. I believe in fostering each child’s physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and multicultural development at their own pace. For me, this work is more than a job — it’s a joy. I truly love what I do and the children I serve. Together with our team of dedicated and creative teachers, I am committed to building a strong foundation for lifelong learning and development. My name is Stephanie and I am one of the Assistant Directors here at TLE West U. I have been with TLE since 2020. I have worked in childcare for 23 years, have my Director's Credentials and Child Development associate's degree. My favorite part about childcare is being able to watch the children grow and develop into their fullest potential.

My name is Christina Higa. I have been with The Learning Experience since 2016, as an Operations Manager for franchised owned centers. My role is to provide leadership for centers. I support centers in their ongoing efforts to provide the highest level of service to our children and families. I have worked in the Early Education field for over 25 years. I hold a Child Development Associates and Director Credential through the State of Texas. I am also a member of NAEYC and Early Learners. My goal is to ensure the highest quality early childhood education experience for your child. I want you to feel secure in the knowledge that you have chosen an excellent learning program with nurturing and knowledgeable teachers. Flexi is my favorite TLE character because she teaches the importance of an active lifestyle and healthy food choices at a young age.

I truly enjoy working with infants and young children, and I approach each child as an individual to support their unique development and growth. With many years of experience in ECE and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, I bring both compassion and a strong understanding of health and development to the classroom. I am committed to implementing a thoughtful curriculum while maintaining a safe, nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

I’m passionate about nurturing young minds and supporting their growth through meaningful, developmentally appropriate experiences. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Early Childhood Education, and I’ve spent the past 11 years working with children of all ages in a variety of settings. My approach is rooted in patience, creativity, and a deep respect for each child’s unique journey. As both an educator and a parent to a one-year-old son, I bring a personal and professional perspective to everything I do.

Throughout my life, I’ve had the joy of babysitting children of all ages in my neighborhood, which sparked my love for early childhood education. I’ve always been drawn to the energy and excitement children bring, and I truly enjoy the connections I build with them. As an infant teacher, witnessing each child’s growth and development is incredibly rewarding. Every milestone—big or small—fills me with joy. I genuinely love what I do and believe that nurturing others comes naturally to me.

With over eight years of experience in Early Childhood Education, I am passionate about nurturing young children, especially infants. Originally from England, my strong accent makes me memorable, but it’s my dedication to helping children grow and reach milestones that truly defines me. I bring warmth, patience, and individualized care to my teaching, creating a supportive environment where every child can thrive. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and being outdoors, which helps me stay balanced and energized for my role as an educator

I am from the Philippines. I have my Associates Degree in Child Development for Infants and Toddlers. I have over 15 years experience and love watching my babies grow! As a teachers, It is important to me to provide a safe and healthy environment for children to learn, play, and grow.

I have over three years of experience working in childcare, and I am passionate about teaching and supporting children’s growth and learning. Outside of work, I devote my time to my family, including my husband, son, and newborn daughter. Family and faith are central to my life. I find Early Childhood Education to be a deeply rewarding profession, and I value the strong partnerships I build with families as we collaborate to support their children’s development and progress.

I have been in the child care field for 7 plus years. My little students really amaze me every day and I love to help them learn and grow. I plan to continue my education in childcare.

My background is in Early Childhood Education and healthcare. I taught Kindergarten for eight years with an international organization and have also studied nursing. I truly enjoy working with children and love being part of their growth and development. Currently, I am continuing my education in the healthcare industry to further expand my skills and knowledge. My combined experience in teaching and healthcare allows me to support children’s well-being in a holistic and meaningful way

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Hospital Management and Health Administration, and I’m also a proud mother of three wonderful children. I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, which keeps me grounded and connected. As a teacher, I find great joy in watching my students grow into confident and independent individuals. Supporting their development and celebrating their milestones is one of the most rewarding parts of my role.
