Hi! My name is Kourtney and I'm thrilled to be a part of The Learning Experience New Haven team! My journey brought me from New York to Hamden, CT in 2013, and I've been loving it here ever since. Outside of work, I enjoy writing, crafting, and spending quality time with loved ones. What really caught my eye about TLE New Haven was the fantastic curriculum and strong sense of community. For the past four years, I've been privileged to teach Preschool 1, diving deep into the world of early childhood education. Recently, I've been honored with a promotion to Curriculum Specialist and Assistant Director. I'm excited to step into this new role and lend support to our amazing TLE New Haven community. I look forward to building strong connections with our staff, families, and the wider community, ensuring that we continue to provide a nurturing and enriching environment for our children.

Hello, I am Miss DeVonna. I am a mom of 2 girls and an active church member. I have been working in early Childhood Education since I was in my teens. I have worked with a variety of age groups including adults. I have a passion to encourage people and coach them to embrace themselves to be better everyday.

Hello, my name is Latifah. I am a native of New Haven, Connecticut, and a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University, where I earned my Bachelors Degree. Currently, I am pursuing my Masters Degree in Human Resources, with a minor in Special Education. My professional journey in the field of early childhood education began twelve years ago. Throughout this time, I have had the privilege of working in a diverse range of childcare settings, encompassing public, private, and corporate centers. My experience spans across various age groups, including Preschool and School-aged children. One of the aspects of my role that brings me joy is the opportunity to actively support and observe in the classrooms on a daily basis. Witnessing the children as they confidently achieve their developmental milestones with the guidance and support we provide is truly fulfilling.

Miss Nancy has been in childcare for over 18 years and with TLE New Haven since 2020! She has 2 children and 2 grandbabies that she adores and loves being in her Infant room at TLE.

Hello! My name is Kiyla. I am originally from Brooklyn, New York, and moved to New Haven, Connecticut, in 2021 with my twin sister. I enjoy spending time with my family and our dogs. I have been working with children since I was 13 years old through coaching, summer camps, and school programs. Watching children learn and grow has been incredibly rewarding, and the experience has also helped me grow both personally and professionally. I am excited to be part of The Learning Experience family and look forward to continuing my journey while helping each child learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

Hello! My name is Vashti. I have been working in childcare for over 20 years, and I truly enjoy helping children learn and grow. I have a passion for literacy and love teaching the children of our future. Some of my favorite activities to do with children include music and movement, singing songs, finger plays, and arts and crafts. I believe learning should be engaging, creative, and fun. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, camping, and spending time outdoors. My favorite foods are seafood and steak. I look forward to creating a safe, nurturing, and exciting learning environment where every child can thrive.
