The Learning Experience is an absolutely wonderful place! My son started in the infant B room about 5 months ago and the teachers in that room were wonderful (special shout out to Ms. Valerie who is so caring and kind!) and he moved into the Toddler room about a month ago. Ms. Roxana and all of the teachers in the toddler room are wonderful too! Ms. Roxana is amazing with the kids, she is so fun and loving! I have been so impressed with everyone I have had the privilege to meet at TLE. The food is also fantastic, they have a cook who makes excellent food for the kids. I would highly recommend The Learning Experience to anyone. My son was at a different daycare before coming to TLE and they were not as loving and compassionate as the staff at TLE are. The previous daycare even told me that my son would never do well at a center. I am so glad we left that place and found TLE because my son is thriving at TLE.

All the staff are so kind and generous and loving, it’s makes my mama heart happy to know my son is so well taken care of here. Couple people for sure are Ms.Quinn and Ms.Jessica. Quinn was one of sages first teachers there and she’s always been so sweet and caring. And Ms.Jessica is always so pleasant whenever I see her, she was so willing to help accommodate my son when we found out about a food allergy!

Thank you to all the teachers at TLE. You are all amazing! My son had never been to any daycare before. It was very hard for him, but everyone there was really supportive and made the transition easier for him. He is not quite used to it just yet since this is his 4th week, however I already saw the improvement and his development in many aspects. Extra thanks to Ms. Shanon, Ms.Kennie (I’m sorry if I spell her name wrong, my son called her Ms.Kenzie sometimes), and Ms.Taylor for taking care of him and guiding him. He loves talking about the time he spends with you all when he comes home.

We could not be more happy we chose the learning experience the place to take care of our daughter. We started in infant A and we’re super impressed by Miss Ashley & Miss Adri and could tell how much they genuinely enjoyed taking care of our daughter. Now we are in infant B and Miss Valerie, Kelli, and Annalisa have not fallen short of our expectations. Miss Genevieve and Miss Maya working the administrative side of things have been a huge help too. I always get my questions/concerned responded to quickly and they are always looking out for our daughter, which we couldn’t be more appreciative of!

My name is Jordan Wilmot, and I am overjoyed to be the Director at The Learning Experience. I earned my degree at Grand Valley State University in Education and have many years of experience across multiple age groups. I have taught kindergarten, first, and third grade. I have assisted in preschool and been a childcare worker for children ages zero to twelve. I am devoted to creating an environment where everyone is safe, valued, and supported. I truly believe that building positive relationships plays a great role in creating an environment like this. As both an educator and a mother, I am determined to ensure that every child, family, and teacher feel a sense of love, security, and support at The Learning Experience. I spent several years teaching all different ages before I became an Assistant Director and eventually the Director. I am passionate about education for everyone, especially the children in our communities that will one day possibly be my Doctor, President, Accountant or whatever else they choose to be! I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s Degree in Adult Education and Training. I am also passionate about family! My exciting journey with TLE began in December 2006. I have dedicated each and every day since then to making our three Michigan schools and our Gurnee, IL school the very best for all of our children, the families and our community. I graduated from CMU with a Bachelor's in Child Development and had been a Director for over 13 years. Prior to that, I was a preschool teacher for 5 years in Ann Arbor. I have a passion for working with children and enjoy mentoring the staff to ensure that we are providing the safest and most nurturing environment for all children in our care. I am a very busy mom to 3 boys! We travel all over the country for gymnastics and baseball and I love every minute of it. I'm excited to be a part of this TLE Family and look forward too many more years of watching the children in our care learn, play and grow!
