The learning experience in Kings Park is a wonderful addition to our community. It has only been 2 weeks since it has opened and my child is THRIVING! She’s 21 months. She comes home so happy, she is talking more, and loves going each day! The staff is wonderful, warm and inviting. You can tell they truly care about your child and the children in the center. More pluses are they serve food and milk throughout the day! They learn sign language and Spanish. They have a fun playroom and a playground.

My professional career began in 1994 as a high school physical education teacher and sports medic at the Trinity School in Manhattan. A decade later I became the head medic at Chelsea Piers, also in Manhattan. When they added a preschool to their complex in 2005, I returned to teacher, but this time with the little ones. After moving to Smithtown in 2013, I decided to focus solely on early education. I arrived at TLE in 2024 after almost 8 years at Stony Brook Childcare Services. After 30 years, I still consider myself lucky to be part of children’s learning experiences.
