Hello Upper West Side families my name is Jenna. I am thrilled to be a part of the Upper West Side Team as the Executive Director. I have been working in education for over 10 years and have supported learners of all ages beginning with infants through adults. I received my Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies from Syracuse University as well as my Masters in Education and Human Development with a focus on Early Childhood Special Education from George Washington University. I hold teaching certifications in both New York and the District of Columbia. In addition to running successful early childhood programs, I have spent time developing and enhancing enrollment processes to support all families. I look forward to getting to know your children and families with the intention of strengthening the home and school relationship!

Mr. Paul is very excited to join the TLE Upper Westside community after working over a decade in Early Childhood Education in the city. He’s been on the Upper Westside the last 4 years, has worked with multiple schools across the city in Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn. He enjoys spending time with his husband and dog in his free time, exploring the parks, museums, food, and culture of NYC. He looks forward to meeting everyone and building relationships with the families!

Hello! My name is Nina and I am truly excited to be the Education Director at TLE Upper West Side. I was born and raised in Astoria, Queens, but now reside in Long Island. I have two amazing boys, a 4 year old and a 3 year old. I am an energetic and outgoing person. No matter what, you will always catch me with a smile on my face! I am a graduate of Hunter College and received my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I also have my NYS Professional Teaching Certificate. I have been an Early Childhood Educator for 10 years, working at various centers as a Lead UPK Teacher. Every year has been rewarding watching how much a child grows in every developmental domain.

Hi! My name is La Chelle. I have been part of the TLE family since December 2022. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Childhood Education. I have eight years of experience working with children. I love traveling the world to other countries and spending time with my family.

Hello, my name is Diana Alonso and I am excited to be working at TLE! I have been working at Early Childhood Education centers for five years, specifically with infants. It is so rewarding to see the children reach different milestones and watch them blossom!

Ms. Julicia has her Associates in Early Childcare education and has previously worked with preschool children. She is enjoying working as our infant teacher and would some day like to be a Director in an early childcare setting.

Hi my name is Annaliese (I go by Anna). I have been working at TLE for almost two months now and it’s been a great experience! I love coming to work and seeing all the smiles when I walk into my classroom because I know I’m making a difference in their lives. I love to paint, try new restaurants, shop and spend time with family.

I know firsthand how important it is to have a safe, loving, and fun environment where children can learn, grow, and feel supported. One of my favorite classroom activities is coloring—I especially love using cool pens and Sharpies to bring creativity to life!

Hello! My name is Ms. Jennifer. This my second year at TLE and my fifth year as a lead teacher. As a mom myself, I know how much it means to have teachers who truly care. I believe in building strong partnerships with families to support every child’s growth. My goal is to create a classroom filled with kindness, curiosity, and joy. I pride myself in teaching my students with same care, dedication, and compassion I want for my own children. I look forward to a year filled with growth, exploration, and fun memories!

Hi! My name is Wendy! I am currently attending City College to pursue my degree in Masters of Science in Education. I also have a nine-year-old little girl of my own! On my free time I love to visit museums and art exhibits, try new food places, read, bake, travel and spend time with my loved ones. I’ve been working in early childhood for a little over 10 years now and I can wholeheartedly say it is the most rewarding job.

My name is Ms. Catherine. I currently obtain an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice and I am pursuing my education in Early Childhood Education with dual Special Education for my Bachelors degree. For work I have done almost everything from scooping ice cream to working with infants and children to being a New York City Police Officer. All of my jobs have taught me something and by working all these different ranges of careers I have become the person I am today. There are a few reasons in decided to come back to school to obtain a degree in Early Childhood Education with a dual in Special Education. One of the reasons being I have always loved working with children and getting this degree I can achieve that goal of working with children. I love to do art and watch documentaries.

I’m very excited to be a part of the TLE family! I grew up in Kenosha, Wisconsin and went to college in Ohio where I got a BFA in musical theatre. When I moved to New York in 2020 I started leading mommy and me music classes, eventually working with children in other settings like Sunday School, after school music programs, and preschools. I keep my guitar here at school so my classes are always full of music! I’m currently getting my Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Touro University here in the city. When I’m not at work you’ll find me reading a book, meditating, playing video games, or spending time in nature. I look forward to getting to know all of you and your little ones!

My name is Rosemarie and I’m a mother of 3. I’ve been teaching children for over 20 years. It’s been always a passion of mine since I started at 16 years of age as a school counselor. I love teaching and making a difference in a child’s life. I bring smiles laughter and especially love to the job.

Hi my name is Ms. Tracy. I joined the TLE family in August 2022. I have my associates degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences. I am currently doing my bachelors degree in Education, which has been a wonder experience. I developed the passion for working with children back when I used to take care of my own younger siblings. Working with children and being a part of their early development is incredibly rewarding. I love watching them grow and learn new things everyday.

Hi! I’m Kiana. I’ve been in the childcare field for 6 years, working mostly with infants and toddlers. I love to read — with Twaddlers all around, as well as on my free time. My favorite TLE character is Penny Polite! It’s so important to be polite and kind to our friends, using gentle hands and listening ears.

I have worked with children since I was12 years old, starting as a babysitter in Florida. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with aspirations of becoming a school counselor. Hello my name is Ms. Mary! I have over twenty years of experience working with young learners, and joined the TLE family in August 2022. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education and and I currently completed my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. I love working with children because it gives me the opportunity to impact students from a very early age, and it's just so fun! I love to read, watch movies, visit museums and theaters, and walk in my free time. My favorite TLE character is Phoebe Phonics because phonics are the building blocks of literacy.
