The Learning Experience® Rings In the New Year Offering Children ans Families Opportunities to “Explore More” In 2016

The Learning Experience®, one of the nation’s fastest growing Academies of Early Education for children six weeks to five years old, is encouraging children and families of communities nationwide to “Explore More in 2016 at The Learning Experience,” a resolution to explore quality opportunities for little ones to reach their highest potential educationally and socially.

All 153 open and operating The Learning Experience locations nationwide will lead the charge by kicking off the new year with the academy’s January curriculum theme, “A Ticket to Travel.” Throughout the month, students will learn about and explore new cultures and modes of transportation embraced around the world.

Additionally, participating The Learning Experience centers will host free Launch into Learning Nights and Passport to Fun events as an extension of the “Explore More” initiative. The fun and exciting community events will allow families to interact with The Learning Experience’s proprietary curriculum and experience new cultures through a variety of age-appropriate activities. Event attendees will also be introduced to an all-new proprietary edutainment web-based platform that includes videos, games, interactive apps, and more for early learners. Students enrolled at The Learning Experience will have free, 24/7 access to the resource which reinforces lessons children learn at the center at home or on-the-go.

“We believe that early childhood education is the launching pad for children to leap into a future of educational excellence, and so we are honored to have families share in our commitment to ‘Explore More’ with the next generation,” said Richard Weissman, Chairman and CEO of The Learning Experience. “One of the many new educational elements we are pleased to share with our communities is a new web-based platform that allows quality screen time to be accessible to all children and will become an integral part of children’s learning experiences within and outside of the walls of our centers.”

The Learning Experience’s well-rounded approach to early education has proven to dramatically impact the lives of young children, producing the following results:

Early literacy programs at The Learning Experience have more than 95 percent of its preschoolers reading before Kindergarten.

Sign language programs for infants and toddlers that have proven to increase a child’s IQ 10 to 12 points higher than a child who didn’t learn to sign at an early age.

Social programs at The Learning Experience that cover topics such as manners and etiquette (Manners Matter®) allow students to practice positive decision making and build self-confidence.

A proprietary philanthropy-focused curriculum at The Learning Experience teaches the core tenets of selflessness, generosity and giving at a young age and encourages children to apply such values in the classroom, at home and in the community. The Learning Experience’s unique philanthropy curriculum is believed to be the only nationwide curriculum of its kind.

With 90 percent of a child’s brain developing within the first five years of life, The Learning Experience places a prominent focus on programs that advance scholastic and social preparation, including its one-of-a-kind L.E.A.P.® (Learning Experience Academic Program) curriculum and enrichment programs, which have been developed from more than 30 years of experience in the early education industry.
